  1. Looks beast, but it looks too mixed. I definitely like the idea of putting a courtyard for training as well.
  2. Not exactly. Chandragupta(Founder) was a Hindu that converted to Jainism. Chankya the prime minister was a Hindu. Chandragupta's son was a Hindu. Ashoka was a Hindu that converted to Buddhism. But yeah, Ashoka made it a mission to spread Buddhism. And those Hindu temples shouldn't be used as references for this period in my opinion.
  3. Check out Enriques. http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16572&st=60#entry252505
  4. I also think that's the best one, because of the wood. Don't put a Buddha statue in this period. If you notice, all of the reliefs are about Buddha's life, but they'll never show his figure. It's a later development. Maybe some sort of fire alter.
  5. Man, finding dock references for this period in India is going to be hardest. Maybe someone here will find something awesome.
  6. Dude, you should make the dock as well. I hope you give it a try.
  7. Awesome.... That's a badass temple. Will you make units as well??
  8. It should be more like this Instead of this That's all I'm trying to say, because that style is very rare in India.
  9. Lordgood. I'm not talking about the different shape of the columns. I'm talking about how it looks it's like a relief to the building. It's a Roman style I believe. That became more popular in the renaissance. This is more better. The column is complete looking.
  10. No, carving out a large block of stone is later development. But look at the columns for those examples as well. They don't have quasi columns.
  11. I feel like you guys should use a lot more wood. Such quasi columns don't really exist in India. It's more of a European thing. Even when they are cutting through rock, they have the columns more like your first model.

  13. @Mythos What about a unit like this? Chariot with 2 female archers. Maybe Chandragupta can mount on this? And Ashoka on an elephant?
  14. This boat isn't from India. http://www.brighthub...nt-mesopotamia/
  15. I hope you can work it out, because that railing design is one of the things that pops up a lot. Along with the archs and stuff.
  16. One thing though Lord. You should make the railings more like this.
  17. How much do you need, because these are pretty good. There's more turban variation the higher status you are.
  18. Yeah, I know the tall wooden walls. I tried to find examples like those in the reliefs, but can't find them.
  19. Those reliefs are from the Mauryans direct successors btw. Not from the Mauryans themselves, but stylistically things didn't change much between its successors and the Mauryas.
  20. darn Lord, they're nice. Dont you think they look a little too fancy though?
