  1. He got it from this image. I've never seen such a thing, but those guys know more than me.
  2. Would it be possible to make the four lion capital? http://en.wikipedia....llar_at_Sarnath https://www.google.com/search?um=1&hl=en&q=Ashoka%20Pillar%20at%20Sarnath&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&bpcl=38093640&biw=1920&bih=955&ie=UTF- 8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=c2adULKqFcOo2wXGroCIBw This is the coolest out of all the capitals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_Capital_of_Asoka
  3. Are those supposed to be Ashok Pillars? Not very accurate. They're always round shaped with a variety of animals as the capital. http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16056&st=380#entry250217
  4. Maybe make the spikes look closer to how it actually looks like in the reliefs. Right now it looks like you kinda made it up(?)
  5. Yeah, It was built at the end of the Mauryan, Sunga(successor), Satavahana(successor) type styles. After this is the transition to the Gupta styles.
  6. @Lord Why don't you use those railing designs on more of your buildings? Personally, I like the last 2 little more than the first. Mythos wants something like the first 2 I believe. I like those gates.
  7. Something like this should have been the civic center. The current one looks like the gate used by the Mauryans.
  8. I never knew. The most consistent animal that comes up is the Indian lion though. Their successors carried on using the lion symbol as well. These are the animal capitals I have seen so far. http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16056&st=380#entry250217
  9. A lot of those symbols are religious. Like the triratna. You can see figures bowing to it.
  10. I have actually never seen peacocks being really depicted so much. Not even tigers. Popular animals are Indian lions, bulls, elephant, some times horses.
  11. http://members.virtu...m/m/p/m/1f9bbb/ http://www.flickr.co...hoto_4733901056 Idk, maybe you can look for stuff from Ajanta caves. These are the oldest existing paintings in India I believe. 3rd-6th century.
  12. One thing I hope you don't change about this is the Torana(gateway).
  13. Pillars directly from the Mauryan period. They were mostly round or like this. If they decide to put the Gupta empire in part 2. I think those pillar in temple 17 will be more useful for them.
  14. That pillar design appears later on. Look at the pillars in the reliefs. It looks more like the pillars you had on the first model. Temple 17 is dated to the Guptas. 600 years after the Mauryans. I think you should use the reliefs as references for pillar designs. Instead the other temple.
  15. Looks nice. Like the boat ties, maybe you can change to shape. Maybe round instead of square.
  16. What about adding the "spikes" on top?? Like the spike like ornament on top of this arch.
