  1. Econ ele should probably be trained from both the Civ Centre and wherever all the other elephants will be trained.
  2. Either that, or throw a light white material over top upon hover. That also tends to be the universal "click me" indicator as well.
  3. If they're going to have an "elephant stables" building, then we can go ahead and move Heroes back to the Fortress.
  4. Bruno's layout is much improved over the others. Though, I just think the whole thing needs redesigned and the map selection happen in a different screen. The current way tries to jam everything, including CHAT, into one layout and it doesn't work very well, IMHO.
  5. Well, it looks like if the Ptolemies and Seleucids were added to the game, they would be standalone factions, rather than a sub-faction of the Macedonians. So, there would be more room for more accurate unit rosters.
  6. Didn't seem to be a problem for the Norse in AOM. You would have to manually re-position the econ elephant when necessary, and if you used it to go help build it could be out of position as an effective dropsite.
  7. Let Mythos hit everyone with some knowledge. Thracian infantry under the employ of Perseus of Macedon during the Third Macedonian War were known to have worn black cloaks and used the rhomphaia two-handed long sword. The reason they beat Spartiates in the game is because of the general swordsman bonus vs. spearmen.
  8. Agreed. Starting to get micro-heavy, here guys.A dropsite unit is not unprecedented in RTS (see: Age of Mythology Ox Cart for Norse).
  9. If the elephant is the dropsite, then it would not need to shuttle, right?
  10. I'd rather it be more of a direct feature, rather than a passive aura. That's just me.
  11. <Rollover> is the old legacy code superseded by the newer <Tooltip> implementation. So if there is a unit entity with <r\Rollover> text, then it should be converted to <Tooltip>. Another comment: In Age of Mythology, clicking the portrait would launch the encyclopedia entry--a window that showed all the stats, available upgrades, bigger portrait, summary, and History information. I liked it a lot.
  12. It may be possible to make the Econ Elephant a dropsite and a builder. Someone will have to play with it and see what's possible.
  13. Making a mobile elephant dropsite replacing the Mill may work. The Trader should be a cart drawn by cattle.
  14. I'm just countering Kieran's suggestion. Unless I'm misunderstanding him, which is certainly possible.
  15. Hovering over the portrait should give some info at least. If only the <Tooltip> information.
  16. You make a selection and the total max health and total current health are calculated and shown. Then as units are damaged and die, the total current health decreases, but the total max health remains the same. It's supposed to give you a good idea of how well or badly your select is doing at a glance. It currently doesn't do this. Currently, max health is reset every time a unit dies, pretty much making this health bar useless for its intended purpose. The current total health jumps around and doesn't tell you anything about the original selection.
  17. The total health bar currently does not work as I had planned/hoped., so it needs some looking to.
  18. On the contrary, it unbalances the UI, as the player color stripe is already centered and balanced.
  19. Germans, Eastern Romans, Huns, at al. would come with Part 2, which spans from AD1 to roughly AD 550 or so. Mauryans were only a recent addition to Part 1 after great interest was shown by fans and team mates alike.
  20. IMHO, the player color behind the production queue is overkill. I also think the civ logo behind the player name should be centered. Only seeing the top section of the emblem leaves off a lot of identifying material. I think the text looks a lot sharper, actually, so looks good. The in-game UI is starting to look really polished!
  21. WFG is already adding Mauryans. Folks should be patient. I have it on good authority that the Mauryans will be awesome.
