  1. I have trouble on my XP with shadows. They look green

So I was reading on the Iberians off of the website and I was thinking; If some units on the iberian faction have the guerilla warfare tactic, which I'm guessing they hide in forests unseen by the enemy, then the units they are attacking should have a slower reaction time to the attack due to lack of preparation. This would definitely add strategy to the game.

  4. So I was just thinking..some people aren't quick builders and don't have the know-how on how to quickly build an empire. I think there should be a function that can be toggled on and off that gives players a 5 minute time period at the beginning of the game to just work on stabilizing a economy. This phase disables building military units and or buildings. I think it would be good for new RTS players to do so they can breathe for a little before chaos ensues The server host could even have the option of putting these phases throughout the game! A negative effect these could have is it would extend game time.
  5. How about when so many units fall in a trench, the bodies stack up so other units can get across by walking on the bodies
  6. I wasn't thinking of an actual riot happening, just the effect of the riot lol but GREAT ideas! Go with what you want i was just planting the idea =)
  7. I think it would be cool if there was a special unit that, after killing an enemy, takes the enemies uniform and sneaks into enemy cities and, lets say, starts a riot or steals resources. When a riot starts, the victim player's productivity in gathering resources is obstructed for a set amount of time (a riot icon appears on screen). If a unit is stealing resources, the unit comes out of his disguise but runs at an increased speed. Edit: These units could have a cooldown time so players wouldn't spam them. To counter this, players could get a gate upgrade that puts guards at the gate (guards could have a 60% chance of spotting a espionage unit) And every time a guard catches an espionage unit the chance of doing it again increases. Another upgrade that would be cool is to have is archers on the wall. You wouldn't be able to control the archers, but they would show on the wall and attack enemies + increase sight of the walls.

  9. Unit levels should unlock new armors and wep improvements along with formations. My 2 cents for now
  10. When the Mac version comes out, will we have to download the macport or the program on the disk?
  11. It has probably been suggested already but wth... barbarian civilizations should be able to scale walls while non barbarian (more civilized) hafta make ladders?
  12. Hopefully maps will be much larger when final release comes
  13. Proud owner of an iMac Snow Leopard v. 10.6.6 and I certaintly hope there will be a mac version eventually =)
