  1. You're right, I just should've thought about it for a few more seconds.
  2. I'd love to see anything, doesn't even have to be screens, just paste together some graphics, or show some more concept art.
  3. I think it supported a single player in single player. It is singleplayer, right?
  4. One thing that really bugged me with EE was the fact that all of the civs looked exactly the same. IIRC, they even had the same heroes in the same epoch.
  5. Hmmmm, NO Two where in Greece, two where in hellenistic Asia Minor, two where in Egypt, and one in Babylon. Built by Greeks, yes. In a hellenised world, yes. But that's not Greece.
  6. You talk about having different small packages that influence gameplay. Like a module with formations and more stuff like that. Wouldn't that mean that there are really a lot of different versions? In most games, players with different versions can't play against eachother, or the game gets buggy. How are you going to solve this? (I'm pretty sure someone already thought of this, but I'd like to know)
  7. Oh, and for religious things, you could add the ark of the covenant too. (although it wasn't seem, it could have been inside the temple of Jerusalem for a long time around 0 A.D.
  8. The seven wonders of the ancient world: The mausoleum of Mausolos in Halikarnassos, present day Bodrum(?),Turkey. The Kolossos of Rhodos, Rhodos, Greece. The pyramids of Khufu, Chefren and Menkaure in Gizah, Egypt. The 'Pharos' lighthouse in Alexandria, Egypt. The temple of Artemis in Efeze, present day Turkey. The hanging gardens of Babylon, present day Iraq. The statue of Zeus made by Phidias in Olympia, Greece. Some other nice buildings: The pantheon, Rome, The partenon and other temples of the akropolis, Athens, The great library of Alexandria, The temple of Karnak in Egypt, The villa of Hadrianus in Tivoli, Italy
  9. Acumen, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the design document off limits for non team members? If not I would like to receive a copy.
  10. I found out some minutes ago by clicking in DarkAngels sig.
  11. That way there would be huge string of buildings behind your troops toward the place of battle or then enemy town. Doesn't sound too good to me.
  12. But palisades or ditches should be buildable outside too. (Within your own borders)
  13. What do these things do? The first one is only displayed for myself I think, the other one is visible for everyone. You've got me puzzled now. Along with the enigmatic currency I'm understanding less and less every day.
  14. Wouldn't it make sense if testers from group A test for both categories?
  15. But that's not an RTS. Not real time that is.
  16. How would you besiege a line of towers not connected by walls?
  17. If there's an option to get those troops back without any problems, you could use this system to get into his main base with your troops that are under his command, then detract those troops from him and declare war on him. Siege from within guaranteed.
  18. I was under the impression that they were named immortals because the units were never empty. As soon as they died there would be new soldier waiting to replace them.
  19. I know it's a scenario, but I got off topic while thinking about amphibious assaults.
  20. The fact that winds blow the other way in some parts of the map would be hard too. What to do with the place where these winds meet? If a ship with sails ends up in there, it would possibly be caught forever.
  21. I thought you meant little videos that you see after completing a mission or before starting a new one
  22. You're right, if the colours are right it can be done, but I don't want to see Greek soldier wearing bright pink tunics.
  23. I meant something along the lines of this: The blue blocks are carts. Of course there shouldn't be just one cart that goes with the soldiers, there should be a real train. I would choose to guard the train with some small units, but that's totally up to the player of course.
  24. I've never played RoN, so maybe I just have great ideas (?)
