When I click on the game icon nothing happens. After trying to launch it from the terminal, I get the below stack

1. No, I do not have any mods installed. Here is the my directory structure -

2. What do you mean by using PPA? As you might already know, I installed "latest/stable" snap from ubuntu software center

Do other games like supertuxkart run ?

I mean using an Ubuntu Personal Packaged Application.

You can use them to install the latest version of 0 A.D.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers

Alternatively you can also use a Flatpak

Running this solved my issue - 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

 

Does this mean I won't get updates of the game hereafter normally?

As long as @fabio keeps updating it you should be fine

Actually I uploaded it in that PPA as a temporary solution until the official PPA get properly fixed, but I can keeps updating it until needed and as soon as I still have time to do it.
