wowgetoffyourcellphone
Was Tarantine Cavalry a unit from classic AOE1? Just notice that one.

sphyrth
The graphics definitely looks like 0 A.D. in its early 3D stage. In terms of gameplay, though, I'm beginning to understand why AoE2 and AoE3 are still ahead.

Of course aoe2 and aoe3 are completed polished games. It's the polish that 0 a.d. is lacking. The animated arrow thing when task the unit. The flash of the targeted objects. The sound effects. The graphical chat effects.
sphyrth
You gotta understand that I'm a non-AoE2 player. I make videos as if 0 A.D. is ready to be in Beta, and the first time I saw DE I thought it was too complicated. I'm gonna some AoE3 gameplays from time to time just to remind myself of that... Oh wait! Nevermind, after just one sentence I forgot there's DE too.

They haven't a engine or they will use a old one, may be a Halo Wars team of devs.

Of course they do.

They could have been developing AOE4 for a year and we would never know.
