Hello 0 A.D. community, I'm new here and I from Spain.
Since I was a child, I have been playing Age Of Empires, Total War, Praetorians, etc
Today I decided to support and contribute with my ideas to create a better 0 A.D. game.
I think that might be good to include these upgrates or characteristic.
1.Towers Defense.
I know that in Age of Empires, the Tower Defense not necessarily need warriors to work, but in Praetorians it's totally necessary and i want this in 0 A.D.

2.Siege Engines

In Praetorians, workers can build these Siege Engines, I saw that there is a building that recruit these units, okay, but I prefer that the engins got workers and custom animation for work

3.Explorers

Yeah, 0 A.D. needs explorers that can send his Wolf or Eagle to explore.

In 0 A.D. towers work without men in it, however, they work better when additional men are garrisoned in it (an unmanned tower isn't worth a lot). The animation can indeed be done a bit better, currently it only shows a flag when there are some men in it.

for building the siege engines, getting it from a building has some advantages. You can't boom the amount of siege engines you have, as you'd need more fortresses for that, and as you can create multiple siege engines in one batch, it's less micro. So it was a design choice to do this in a building. However, it's perfectly possible to let soldiers build siege engines in a mod.

Hi Alvaroo, Welcome to the forum !

About exporer, the good point of 0AD now is that in the first minutes of a game, you need to choose between scouting or hunting with your initial cav, or spend 100food 40wood to get another cav and be able to do both.

It's more strategic than having all civ with a cav for hunting and an explorer for scouting I think.
