(SOLVED) Can no longer purchase heroes...

Hi all...

I'm not sure if it has to do with the choice of AI's, but for some reason, after installing the new Alpha 11 release, I can no longer purchase many of the special units or heroes, such as Leonidas or Xerxes. The thumbnail is grayed out and I'm told that it will be available in a future release. Can anyone tell me why that is?

Game lag and choppiness is still pretty bad when playing with more than one AI player.

On the plus side, I do appreciate the new shared LOS between allies. Also, as a suggestion for a future release, it would be helpful if we could build towers or other defensive buildings on a ally's territory to help defend them. In AOE II, I used to build one or two castles right next to my computer ally's town center and houses and garrison them with as many archers as they would hold. The opposing AI's usually had a fair degree of difficulty defeating my ally because of this.

Well, you did better than i could in finding the reason! Also, i have the same issue with lag. Have you tried using the Atlas Builder? I tend to have incredible glitchty/lag while trying to create.
