Tutle
Really enjoyed putting 20 archers on a super ship, and watching them clear a whole land area filled with enemy spear-man and calvary. Out of curiosity, when was this implemented in-game? I believe Alpha 5 was the last one I tried a suitable ship battle map. Also, is there plans to tweak or implement more features in relation to this area? Perhaps, increase the rate of fire of the battle ship instead of the archers own arrows? I am fine with either one, but was curious if this is being discussed.
tribalbeat
I didn't think it was implemented yet.
AuroN2
Personally i would like to see the archers shoot slower on boats, i mean really, your on a boat (MOTHER @#$%ER DON'T YOU EVER FORGET) *ahem* I mean, It's wavy, so you wouldn't be able to shoot or aim rather as fast as you would on land, That's where Marine units come into the equation, they don't get disadvantages on boats like teh landlubberz, makes sense and would give a reason to have marine troops, personally i think it sounds cool.I might put this in a suggestion thread. Pureon
I didn't think it was implemented yet.I believe it's only implemented on Bireme class ships.Should we add it to all other warships (and Iberian/Celt merchant ships)? Mythos_Ruler
By default biremes shoot 2 arrows and triremes shoot 3 arrows. They will shoot 1 more arrow for every unit you garrison aboard. Garrison 10 units aboard and the ship fires 10 additional arrows every few seconds at random targets within range.
