Arthur_D
I am not sure. I'll LAN some other games on Saturday, so maybe I shouldn't spend all day playing games. Also, I am not too good in 0 A.D. yet. It's honestly not fun enough for me to learn well yet - if the game ran more smoothly it might. But maybe I'll show up for a game.
asmartgoat
You could try running it on a different OS. For instance, ubuntu or Fedora. But other than that, unfortunately I can not help you much with it.
Arthur_D
Yeah sure thing. I doubt it will run more smoothly than on Debian, except that I have really outdated graphics drivers (upgrading those in Debian Stable is way too painful though).

asmartgoat
Gentoo? xDFedora and Debian are of comparable speed, so you wouldnt see a real difference except for desktop performance because of gnome 2.6 in debian being faster.Maybe you want to update your drivers. Maybe install Arch/Linux Mint debian/Fedora on a diff-partition or USB and install graphics drivers, which might be easier.@mrjeremister Have fun, join us for a game when you get back.
