0ad alpah 28 only show some english words correctly, most words are xxxxx

hi guys

a 0ad alpha 28 problem has happened to me

when i install 0ad 27, all words are shown correctly on screen，but when i install the newest version 28 , no matter linux or win,  there are only some words shown, others are xxx, even english words

i have upload the pic so you guys can check it

tips:

problem happen in both linux and win, i install 0ad on linux by flathub, i use linux mint 22.3, and i am chinese, if these information can help you ,but english words are also shown as xxxx

Thanks for the report. Don't worry it's probably easy to fix
 

We've added supports for CJK fonts but your current locale is not being recognized. 

Do you what it is ? e.g zh_TW, zh_Something ?

Basically we're using different fonts depending on the locale, and the fallback is english.

Can you provide us with a screen shot that allow us to see your current locale. Can you try to get to the option based on the next images:

my location is chinese mainland  ,and locale is zh CN like the pic below

and i dont know what i did but locale change into zh(  I dont know i did or program did)  and now everything's fine, every word is correct now, thank you guys

seems like you cant let program itself choose locale for you ,seems it has to be  choose zh in the first option,  language option,  and country choose the first option "无“（none）and everythings fine now
