Is there new cav or what?

Hello, yesterday I was playing nomad and a guy was playing with Romans, and I thought he was using champ cav, but later in the replay I noticed he had different cav in the stable.
This is new? Is a mod? A bug? What am I missing?

Hi Alex, 

 

It looks like your icons are displaying differently from the original ones. The icon he's using appears to be the standard picture/avatar for the Skirmisher Cavalry, which might be due to some modifications you've installed. I could be mistaken, but I think this might be what's causing you to think he has different cavalry.

@AlexHerbert those are the cav you get after Marian reform (Roman upgrade in fort). Once researched, this tech change almost all units of the Romans; It's mostly a tech to make infantry stronger, for cav, stats aren't affected but icon still are. It's new from a27.
