Female Celt hair pattern

Female Celts have this headband pattern in their hair.

I would like to remove this pattern but I cannot find a way to do this.

I had assumed that the pattern would be stored somewhere in an image file but I have been unable to find anything like this pattern in the image files in the head and helmet textures directories.

I have also tried to follow down the links in the art/actors/props/units/heads/new/head_female_celt.xml file but these links seem to peter out before any image file for the pattern is specified.

I am probably missing something. My usual technique of "hack and see" hasn't made much progress on this problem. Any suggestions would be gratefully received

Until someone more knowledgeable comes along: did you look for the mesh of that unit?

Yeah I believe those hair are part of the 3D model not the texture. Transparency is expensive.
