there really need to be a good open surce verson of sim city or good open source city building game yes i now there are are some like opencity with is close it seem dead and lincity-ng still active but isnt much different from a basic city build game look at the new sim city game that coming out im not saying we can do that but we can do something like that

havent ready the full thread yet i like the idea of this mod/game if you are just basing this off dota then that ok but if this is based on the dota world as well why cant we come up with something else more original i like the idea to staying true to the 0 A.D. roots and try to make a ARPG without magic in a somewhat accurate historical setting. that would be the best thing IMO that you do try to stick to this type http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplayer_online_battle_arena -

i would like it if i could be able to press the escape key in the game to get the the menu screen in game like most game do unless you guys have something else planed for the key

good AI is not something to take lightly even if you keep start off with just basic path-finding keep improving it to add more complected stuff during the alpha/ beta test that would be the best way to do it so you can get feedback

please do not short hand AI take your time on it and make it the best you can and allow people to people to make improvement to ai engine that would also be included in to the base game
