I agree that my statement was a big of an exaggeration about Saddam, but as for pink, why are they in the army? I'd say they're paid to die. Look, war is horrible, but someone's gotta do the dirty work. The soldiers are the snow-shovelers. Nobody can keep you from shoveling snow. We can't keep people from dying, but we can respect the fact that they did die in service. Death, in the end, is pointless and futile. Nobody can cheat it. They didn't die pointlessly, they died in a blaze of napalm, or being gunned down with hot lead. But hopefully that can prove to be a better future.
I don't agree with Titus's condescending manner. Bush is horrible, I agree, but he did what he did, and nobody knows how good or bad that is. He certainly isn't as horrible as Hitler, and he certainly isn't as great as Polk (or Clinton). But at least we only have 3 years and 11 months of him left. And don't get this wrong: I hate the guy. But he could have been worse. At least we don't have huge internal chaos right now due to poor cabinet selection.

Basically, the number 54 depends on how many fingers you have.
If you had two fingers, then 54 wouldn't even be a number to you.
If you had 13 fingers, the number 42 would represent 54.
Our decimal system is based on having 10 fingers, so fifty four is 5 * 10 + 4 = 54 objects.

That's definitely worse than starting a war in Iraq. At least GWB did something. Would you rather have Saddam bombing the heck out of us right now? I don't agree with everything GWB does but at least he did do something.
