  1. One small feature/fix I've been wanting to mention for a while was fixing the tab order on certain forms. I use the keyboard as much as possible, so I like to type a message, press Tab to move the focus to the "Post" or "Add Reply" button, and hit Space to click the button. (Much faster than clicking with the mouse :king:)

This works on almost all forms. The reputation form is one where it doesn't work:

I've also noticed that if one opens the Quick Reply box on a page, then tries to use the Fast Reply box to type out a reply, pressing Tab moves the focus to the button on the Quick Reply box (instead of the Fast Reply box).

EDIT: Odd... BBCode seems to be temporarily disabled. Mark that for another suggestion :o

  2. Im gettng disapointed by the movie industry, they are lacking originality, they do mostly remakes or adaptions from books/games

The adaptions from other media isn't lame IMO -- I like to see books (Lord of the Rings, for example) in film form. :)

As for remakes, that's hit or miss, I think. I recently saw the "Flight of the Phoenix" remake and hated it. ;)

I guess we can still hope Halo gets it right.

I have a feeling that it probably will, but who knows. :D

  3. Hundreds of years ago people believed that there was a large planet called Vulcan on the edge of our solar system.

You're pretty close :) According to Wikipedia, Vulcan was believed to be a small planet orbiting between Mercury and the Sun.

Semi-OT: It's struck me as humorous that it's likely more technology, theories, ideas, etc. have been developed based on things that were in episodes of Star Trek than anything else. :D

  4. BB can take any crappy straight-to-TV movie and add some cool stuff to it. Same with his music for Scorcher, which is also on his website.

OT: I've been listening to his music over the past couple of days (at your suggestion in the "List of good cinematic music" thread), and have been loving it. He certainly composes in the style of Williams and Zimmer, which is exactly the style I like. :)

  5. :) I thought that Matt's question hasn't been answered yet.

@Matt: I vaguely remember a news story I read about an oxygen/hydrogen ramjet-type engine that was being developed recently, but I can't remember the specifics. :D

  6. I think that's impossible with BitTorrent, because you only share the files which are specified in the torrent file and that one is correct...

Yes, BitTorrent makes use of hashing to ensure that the bits you end up with are not tampered with in any way, and the file you end up with is exactly the same as the original seed.

(Of course, if the original seed is corrupted or altered, that's a different story. :) Hence the probable need for a central/'official' swarm.)
