I totally agree with that. But when a fight drags on for long enough, you sometimes find yourself in a position where you should have used Traders.

Another minor issue with the AppImage is that when you try to connect to a local game and it doesn't work, the game doesn't exit the Connecting to a game window. You can always click 'Cancel' and try again. Should I create an issue for that on Gitea? Is that description enough?

I have tested the AppImage When i tried to launch atlas i got this Message in the logs I found this DllLoader: dlopen(libAtlasUI.so) failed: libAtlasUI.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory; dlopen(libAtlasUI_dbg.so) failed: libAtlasUI_dbg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory;

It seems like you have installed an old version of PureOS. Perhaps you should upgrade or use backports. https://software.pureos.net/package/src/pureos/dawn/flatpak
-
as far i know the latest flatpak version is 1.16.1 https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/releases so the PureOS's FlatPak is outdated
-
I would agree. I know about the upcoming release because I visit Gitea from time to time, but you can't expect that from everyone. I'm not sure if there's a better way to communicate this than by announcing it on the forum and perhaps on social media. The only other thing I can think of is informing players in the bottom right-hand corner when launching the game that they could help test a new release version.

I had this problem on Windows when I was using the Vulkan graphics. Try switching to OpenGL.

How and where can I share my maps with community?
Gönndolsalv replied to HUDSAN's topic in Tutorials & Guides
the best would be to make a mod for your map and upload it to mod IO or just upload it to the forum there is a wiki article with more informatio https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/wiki/Modding_Guide you could also look at the community maps mod how itś done or write the maintainer to include your map -

stan mentioned a few times data form the automatic feedback. Is that data somewhere available? I found this https://feedback.wildfiregames.com/ but there is only old data and nothing about daily users. -

remove the alpha before the Version number fine but move directly to 1.0 is to far if 0.27 is already bold anyway it´s just a number how important is it really? -
Of course you can. @ArjenSDdo you play in the same network or do you want to play over the internet? I assume you search for the Gamelobby to play over the internet. For that you just need a username and a password, accept all the "Trems of something". Then you should be able to play with your friends outside of your network without the need to change something on your router.

Interesting how opinion differs here. I like the in Development disclaimer. I also don´t think calling the different game versions alpha XX is a issue. Since you can play the game for free and it is in development it´s ok that things are not perfect or subject to change. I´m not a typical gamer so maybe i´m the wrong person to ask. When i get this question from my fiends that i got to install the game my reply is: because there will be more features, it will be better with the next version or if you want you can help them, write a mod with your own changes. From my point of view all of that is positive. -
