  1. I say its eaqually important. a blank grassy map can have 2000 triggers but it still looks like a blank grassy map. and a highly RPG style map is useless without triggers. and everything is useless without units so I say its all important

  3. the heka gigantes spc attack deforms it Also, if in the editor you can scale units (hopefully you can, if not im sugesting it) make sure that the attachpoints scale with the unit unlike aom, that is so annoying to scale something and find its head levitating 10 metres above it.
  4. I like the idea of those two modes, the voley mod would make formations more inportant when approching an army. Collateral damge please! so when you have a heap of archers shoot into a crowd they do damge to units the arrows hit if its not their target. like when you turn collateral damge on in aom It makes archers sooo much more effective! and realistc. allied damage should be optional for offline but online shouldnt be used, unless those settings are made by the host so everyone gets the same settings.

  11. on Donkey Kong 64, when DK is climbing a tree, its not really a glitch but sounds funny. it looks funnier if you make him go up and down real quick

  15. I live on the central coast in New South Wales, Australia. (eastern side) Its hot in summer (realy hot...lots of bad bushfires) and cold in summer (realy cold but only snows in a few small areas, but we make up for it in cold rain...except in drought which we are in now) In autum and spring its more or less transitional, kind of what you expect. Because we are in the southern hemisphere our seasons are opposite to all you northern hemisphere people.
  16. Praise the lord, lots of plants and animals with lots of variations! and lots of extra eyecandy buildings like in SWGB:CC which has tonnes of extra buildings and make it so they can be stacked like in aom please cause thats cool. except maybe with a few extras.

  20. @King Tut, I put those in originaly but it ruined the effect of an image map I made so I removed it. @Dark Angel, I only just started learning javascript but I am starting to get the hang of it, does any one know any good free javascript tutorial sites other than W3C? Also I am doing french at school and am doing pretty good, but I also know fragments of several other languages including greek and latin. I am already enjoying my stay however I expected it to be more active than it is, maybe its just my timezone is opposite to the worlds (Im in australia GMT+10) but if there is any way I can help let me know. I'll definantly be tryng out for the 0ad beta test if im eligable. *hopes Im eligble* If not I can always spam the forums with great ideas.

  23. well thanks for the reply, I suppose I should have expected it to cost so much. I just thought it would make it much easier to create new mods which is one of the best parts of this game. at least we can always write export/import scripts but they can be such a hassle. Also since were on this modelling topic, I was wondering what model format you will be using.
