  1. I see...

    Uh... (insert 'confused' smiley here...)

I live in New Hampshire, USA. I like to program games, mostly as a hobby, but later I think I will sell some shareware games just so that I can make some money to pay for development software and all that.

I program in C++, although I do know a little of most other languages (A tiny bit of VB/other BASICs, HTML, some Java, some Javascript, some PHP, some assembly, ... ...), and I mostly program game logic and graphics. Also I can make 3D art (using Blender; not professional-quality either :indifferent: ), and compose music (once again, nothing professional-quality :worship: ).

  2. If anyone has an old computer and a broadband connection, you could set up that computer as a server and have basically unlimited bandwidth (provided your ISP lets you...). If enough people are willing to donate old computers to use as temporary servers, it could work out...

  3. Where am I from? Like, born in or where do I live currently?

I spend most of my time on my computer. Or playing video games. Really depends on whether I feel like programming or playing at the moment...

Also, I don't think revealing my age would be very... beneficial... online, so the most I'll say is that I'm going into 8th grade this year.

  4. IMHO, if you want to do something, don't do it in the Sims, go and do it in real life! Games are made so that the player can experience something that would be otherwise impossible in the real world, at least that's my opinion.

Sim City was a good game anyways! Sim Tower was good too.

  5. Don't worry, I know what Java and Javascript are are how they're different.

I think that the choice is interesting :D. JavaScript is faster? I wonder how many other people know that (or even think about using JavaScript)...

Since Javascript is commonly used online, does that mean that you could have online 'demos' of upcoming mods/stuff?

  6. I used to have a Linux (the install CD doesn't work anymore), and I remember the icons used in the GNOME MC and KDE filemanagers. They looked neat, and I wanted to 'port' them to my Windows XP. However, I do not have access to those icons anymore! Does anyone have a Linux or anything and can help me out?

  7. Both are equally important. SP is needed to 'build up' your skills, and on games such as SimCity or games with very intricate stories, SP is almost the only option. MP is important too, because human players are definately more skilled and it's a good place to socialize :D. However, I do lean away from MP because I suck at it, and because I have dial-up.
