  1. NAWA RAKONTERO – LA PLISCSIICZHO (Ninth Chapter - Graduation)

This is how, my friend, I knew mostly who I was.

In fact, my friends after this moment, on my graduation day, showed me honour, to remember the Holloween's disaster. When I received my diploma, four people went on the stage.

Karl remember my mind-opening, also my little scares, some true, some not. He explained that he liked to pass all his youth with me. He finished thridschool, and he planed to study Mythology. I wa smiling, knowing that he wanted by the same mean fulfil his passion and answer my numerous questions about myself. Otherwise, he talked about our first meeting. He found me strange, and he did like it.

Sophiane remembered me as her big brother. She also talked about her cancer episode. From when I was young, I always have been there for her. If she had problems, I went to see her. I didn't gave answer, but I showed the way, seeing how great is the Labyrinth in which we are everyone. That is what she spoke of. She also add a few words on our parents, telling that even though I was a miracle, she was another one for she should have never been given birth. Then, she gave the credit for her birth.

Helena passed with me all this year, as a couple, and it wasn't ending, she wanted to love until the end of time, not knowing my life, she simply said that she woudl like to have been by my side for all those years. And Randy, by the meantime, when on the stage. He learned more about me, and he said that no more my surname was still valid, and that there must be a better one. He also spoke that we had something in common, our adoption. He was actually the second baby in Karine's orphanage.

So, I got on the stage, received my diploma, and then came my trainer who gave me a diploma regarding run training, to be able to train the whole team of Delta's Thridschool. I thanked everyone, my parents, my friends and all those people around me.

Later, I send to Helena a message that she should come in the heart of the forest, the one that my family used to visit each year.

She arrived in a meadow that I showed on the message. The Sun was shining great, but the leaves were softening the light. A wind, as the one at Karl's home, blew in the meadow.

Behind, I was looking. I than began to approach, caring to not make a sound to not be seen. Softly, I placed my two arms around her, I turned her to my side, and I kissed her on her hand. A lifeful silence was being.

This is when I presented her a casket. She accepted, and so it has been since until...

  2. OKA RAKONTERO – LA SPIRITVESPERO (Eight chapter - Holloween)

That holiday was still celebrated by my time. You would certainly like that holiday. Everyone dressed like they wanted and it is the one who criticized who was blamed for life. And, on that holiday then, I dressed up with the costume Karl had made on that day, which he gave me as a gift. I didn't have the courage to officialy invite Helena, though. My shame must have been more than a screen. A shame before my feelings. But we must believe that Fate can do things.

I entered the party room, with Sophiane, dressed as a Wizard, and Karl, dressed as a Ranger (both made by Karl, for sure). I, with my costume, had a bow and arrows that Karl had made me, that really works. (I still have it and frequently play with it) Then, entered the three Sophiane's friends, each being dressed in a traditionnal fashion of their own culture. Then, Gerhard simply entered with a Festaro* dress.

In the partyroom, I saw Helena who was, she, wearing a long and colorful dress, and bore ears... like mine. She came close to me, Sophiane pushed me to her. So we began to dance on a slow music, so much that we felt well beside each other.

So, the evening well begun. I felt great, by her side, and so did I feel she felt. Randy could not not see us, but he didn't showed up. He saw that her favorite cousin liked me and that he will have to accept it with a little smile. Karl and Sophiane were smiling with such a face : they prepared everything, but I didn't bother anymore, prefering to feel the moment. But the evening did not end quite well.

Shortly after the Darkening*, I felt a burning smell. I didn't bother. But, more the evening passed on, more did I smell it. Then, I saw the flame. I alerted everyone, and everyone got out, except me. Pushing Helena to the exit, I went back myself into the fire and I was block by a surrounding fire. I was worrying. I didn't feel good at all, in the heart of the fire. Then, I felt those senses, that I began to feel in the forest, earlier. I felt, forces... of the Nature. I was so scared that a wind blew to give oxygen and calm me down. But fire was still there : it grew more since Oxygen was brought. But then, I understood.

From the outside, one could see a great sea wind blow, when an earth wind should have blew. This wind brought humidity, and a great stormcloud grew over the partyroom, in fact the school's gym. The storm cracked, but as a single great shower as if one was pouring water on the fire. Seconds later, we could see a young men getting out, his dresses all proper and dry, because some wind had protected him to breathe in the rain. I went outside, and Helena kissed me and so did my friends, shortly after...

  3. In Greek Mythology, they, the mermaids, are indeed fully "Maia" (as not being Gods, but Godlike beings), and so do I think were the Maiar that showed up to those few Atani to give birth to my Aeratani (Tawsawwen) people of the Second RP. (But they were not only maids but also men (y) that showed up)

  4. So, what's special about Montreal?...

A LOT OF CULTURE AND CULTURES

We have indeed a lot of cultural structures and services. We have great museums, as well as great theaters. We produce a lot of music, movies, circus shows, litteratue, theatre and a lot more.

As for cultures, there indeed a lot of proud communities. As akya said, you can learn a lot of languages in Montreal. Only in my college, I'm sure I could have learn quite easily Arab, Vietnamese or Haitian if I wanted to. But there is indeed a lot more. Also, in Montreal, coexists, with difficulties, French and English (and not a lot of cities can do so...).

    THE MOUNTAIN AND THE RIVER

In the middle of Montreal, we have La Montagne (The Mountain : Royal Mount), a huge hill that stand right in the middle of the city (it is all around it!). On the hill is built the famous Westmount, but also the two great Universities Montreal (french) and McGill (english). There is also the Oratoire Saint-Joseph, the biggest Catholic temple in America, second to Saint-Peters in Rome. Also, on it's east side is the Famous neighborhood Le Plateau, well described by Michel Tremblay.

But we also have Le Fleuve (The great River : St-Lawrence River), a one kilometer large river that flows east of Montreal, where it's port is built. We have an old port where are the bistros and cafés, but there are many all around the city.

    NORTHWARDS

When you go northwards, after passing through the northern suburbs (where I live), you get to the Laurentian Mountains where you can ski in winter and golf and mountain-hick in summer. Souther, you'll get by Oka's beach, where one of the famous purely quebecer cheeze is produced, the Oka cheese. Or you can relax on a beach on the Two-Mountain Lake.

    SOUTHWARDS

Down to the south, you pass by the South-Shore Brigdes, famous during rush hours, and you'll possibly see Terre des Hommes, where the greatest Universal Exposition ever was, Expo 67. South, you'll arrive on the great Montregian Plain, where there are Hills of the kind of The Royal Mount in Mtl. If you pass by March and April, you'll have Maple Syrup parties. If you do by August and September, you'll have Corn of Apple parties.

You'll also pass by the Patriote's Vale, where most of the Wars between the Patriots and the English Army faced each other in 1837-1838. You'll also see the Richelieu, being in the middle of that vale, great for summer activities.

    (Yiuel :muaha:)

  5. Prices can vary.

Here, where I live, in a small town north of Montreal, the price of gaz is about 0,93 $CA/L. In Montreal, they are about 1 $CA/L (in fact, a little less, because when it will reach 1$, people will freak out in Quebec). (1 $CA = 0,75 $US = 0,63 EUR ; 1 US-GAL = 3,875 L)

As for prices, we have the highest prices of North America, but they are somehow lower than in Europe. Why it is so is that no more Gaz is produced in Quebec, everything being produced in Ontario (Sarnia's fields). We also have higher taxes on gaz, which brings up a little higher the gaz price. Importing is always high-costing. Importe implies a lot of costs, but instability indeed plays a lot, but not as much as we could think. In Quebec, we rely on gaz that mostly comes from Europe (North Sea).

That's why in Quebec, we are mostly against using Gaz to produce electricity (we use Hydroelectricity, and were moving on Windmill-electricity :muaha:, because it's becoming cheap in Quebec ). In fact, we have the cheapest price on electricity : everyone wants to by electricity to us. New York City indeed is one of a possible buyer . Also, there are researches on electric cars, and there are some already built.

  6. So we have only three more chapter left. We're on the end. I'll try to do the three of them on the same, because they quit follow one another.

For now, what do you think of Elfy (his name wasn't revealed yet (y))? Notice that I had some feedback about him, and I know his big default (in a human perspective) and one of his great qualities.

  7. SEPA RAKONTERO - LIBRAREJE (Seventh chapter - To the library)

But I thought back on what happened this summer. I forgot Helena, his cousin and Gerhard, and I asked the ultimate question about myself to the only person that I knew who liked oddities, Karl. I explained him everything, clearly. I thought about something, but he asked me to come with him to the library, byt the end of the week.

This is how I passed my afternoon, on that day, the Sesdato, on book-reading. Karl didn't look at me, he knew to much that I read books at an unthinkable speed. I indeed read a whole dictionary of Gaelic when I was young, and I became a aid-teacher about that language. So Karl simply ask that I read everything that I could about old and old-like myths, and to note every detail that would look as I am and where the characters look as I am and seem to be linked somehow to me.

So I noted some details, but nothing I could put together, link. But Karl taught me that myths don't tell everything, and that logic must be forgotten then. But, Logic, that is something that goes with when I'm analysing. You know that I look to each detail.

Then, we went back to Karl's home. I also wanted to see again Karl's cousin, who went to live with Karl's family, to study in the Delta's Thirdschool and, by the same, train himself its great running team (I may have been the best of the team, but for the others, they were way better than the other teams.) Karl asked me if I could run with him, just to see, that what I did. In the meanwhile, he prepared something, in his room.

He took a load of tissue and sewed during a couple of hours. I, by the same time, was running for pleasure with his cousin, Gerhard, who looked to have some difficulties. Karl arrived at something, and he got out of his house, telling me that he hadn't finished yet. So I stayed there with his cousin, and I tried to show him some of my tricks that I used (but I quit fast understood that he couldn't use them easily). After a time, Gerhard questioned me about my bandana... Because it was not a very popular accessorie by the time I lived there.

Karl's parents, people that I didn't talk a lot, were looking at me and Gerhard, and when they saw my ears, they were doublely suprised. They knew, somehow, that I was hiding something behind that bandana, but they never thought about this, and, they latter got outside and telled me that I looked great with those ears. They were formerly hating me for some reason, maybe because of that bandana that made me look somehow bizarre, excentric).

While me, Gerhard and Karl's parent's were chatting outside, Karl came back with some things. He invited Gerhard, his both parents and I in the backyard, noticing tha I and his parents had become friend. We longly waited. Then, Karl came in the backyard with a box. He gave me the box and he showed me the way to the backhouse.

With his help, I dressed with the costume he made me. He indeed liked to sew, and he indeed knew how to do so. He showed me his body-tall mirror (and the one he always uses when he prepares a Naturgranda, like he called them, his costumes being so great) on which I could see myself. I went out.

When the people saw me, there blew a wind, perfectly placed, then Karl spoke wispering words...

Ever after what Karl's parent said, and because Karl said to me that I looked quite... elvish?..., like he sais, I never weared back that bandana, while I lived there. I proudly bore my two ears, and even if I was looked strangely, it didn't bother me at all. My teacher indeed liked what I did, and everyone in the end thought of it, after all, and my surname was indeed no more a mystery. After that, I prepared myself for the Halloween Eve, for that was to be in a few days.

  8. SESA RAKONTERO - HELENA (Sixth chapter - Helena)

A few days later, Sophiane jumped on my bed. Since these days, she had more energy. In fact, everything begun when she first drank my drug! The daily question came back (Dreams?) and, as usual, I answer no dreams. A breakfast. We went together to school, for tody was school's fisrt day. And, because she was now of thridschooling, she entered with me.

But this year's first day, that year then, made me feel that I was also somehow human. Remember the girl I met on the beach? Well, she was in my school. A first year girl. Sophiane was her classmate.

From my locker, I could see hers. I looked at her, she seemed quite lonely. but people began to gather by her side. Sophiane did the same. She came back to me after some time. She gave an account on her, seeing that I had "some" interest in her, and she taught me what I needed to know about her. She, who was named Helena, was Randy's cousin, a too common situation... I had forgotten him this summer, there was to much happening in my life. My little life's reality was back in front of me. Even so, I continued.

I went through the day as always when there was school. On the morning, I followed my daily course about my Mastery with my designated teacher. We didn't had time to choose my subject, but, instead, we looked through Sevy's History. We systhetically analysed everything that happened that changed the course of the developpement of the State of Melville.

After class, I went on running, as ever. I joined my trainer. He presented me Gerhard Berlin, Karl's cousin, who wanted to be part of the running team. So I began to train him. We had a lot of fun, he seemed to like to run. Moreover, he looked at me wideeyed, as if I was some hero to him.

Later, nothing more. I won over Randy, as ever at least, which victory Gerhard loudly felicitated, for he didn't knew it's was a daily run. And then, as usual, I met with my sister, her friends and Karl, as on the last before summer that I spoke to you about earlier.

  9. Well,

From my Canadian point of view, I can't tell what I think. Not that I didn't know about Normandie, but I don't think good about wars and militaries. I don't know, I don't feel in anyway concerned, I don't feel any bound also. All those great speaches about peace and what so ever, "c'é juste d'l'***** d'marde!" (some can be added, as ********,*******,********* : the more, the better) as an average Quebecer would say. We do commemorate those great happenings, but did we learn? Not at all!

France did not (Indochine, Algeria), or did but very lately. Let's not speak of United States. I will not speak about my own country either (Rwanda, we had a very "special" part), and we could say a lot of most countries : We did not learn about those mistakes of our common past. That leaves me bitter, and there is no pride then to find in Normandie or whereever we could think of. Indeed there we made a good deed... But what is doing something and then not learning of it?.. If that is Normandie, then it was no good to the whole world and forever we will be in wars.

(Edit : I know, I'm a bit crazy to be such negative, but so I am whenever one speaks of wars and such)

(Edit : On Akya's advise, got out the Quebec's Sacres.)

  10. Is there no Walloon in Bruxelles at all, even after thoses years? »In Ottawa, after 137 years, there are a lot of Quebecers (but the northern suburb is actually in Quebec and full of Quebecers).

I did understand the Flemish issue of Brussel. What I wanted to know is if there was any Walloon in the city. It seems not, according to what you are saying. As for the 60/10/30, I understand, and I wish you independance :muaha: Here in Quebec, will have our luck this year. (I wish that we could have a new country...)

  11. As for dinosaurs, they are not extinct, a lot of them flies by my house and I'm sure that is the same around you :muaha: (Birds!) In fact, only a majority of dinosaurs did not pass through the K/T barrier

As for to imagine what could be, we could go far :)

  12. Oh well, it must be my perceptions of Lúthien that gave me this impression. For me, Wisdom is not always thinking, but knowing whenever it is needed what would be good for the world. And that she quite knew (y)

    MAN-AINU

I thought about this when I thought about the people I'll play in the Second Role Playing Game. I imagined them of such breed. So I thought that, as with for Half-Elven, they had to choose between being bond to Arda or receiving the Gift of Men. Also, they receive some blessing from their Ainu blood. (I made them choose the Gift of Men, and they received two appearant blessings : the first one is from their ancestry : their ainur parents where of the people of Ulmo, so they developped some sea caracteristics ;) , and the other gift is longer lifespan, that ranges to 200 years, with almost no sickness.)

  13. The dunadan blood is a lot less elvish than the Dol Amroth blood, but the dunadan blood has maia blood in it, what has not the Dol Amroth. Also, the elvish strain of the dunadan blood comes from the High Kings of both Ñoldo (Turgon Fifth High King, to Idril etc.) and Teler (Directly from the great Elwe Singollo, Elu Thingol), and Dol Amroth elvish strain is from a servant of Nimrodel, so not very powerful among the Elves.

One of the titles that Eldarion could bore is High King of the Elves in Middle-Earth, even if he wasn't an Elf (By Elrond, who was the last who could ever claim the High Kingship of both Ñoldor and Teleri of Middle-Earth). A Man ruling over Elves, what a strange pattern...

  14. Lúthien was I think at least as powerful as Feanor was. She was even better and wiser than him (y) What Feanor tells us is not that being powerful is bad (and I think it is not bad), but having power WITHOUT wisdom is nothing good. Lúthien was I think the wisest elf of all, even over Elrond ;)

  15. I thought of this when the third movie got out, but not about the same ones. It was Eldarion, my inspiration : did he had those pointed ears? I thought the movies could give any hint, but they turn around the question : the movie's Eldarion (because we see him) had hair over his ears! I was furious. Then I forgot about this.

Tuor could give the answer. He was a Man, he maybe became an Elf later on. (Though I'm not sure the story is still valid) If he become counted among Elves, did he grew those pointy ears? If yes, it seems that there is no genetic involved. But I doubt this, because Tolkien tried to mix some science in his stories.

If no answer can be given, here is my opinion : Elros and Elrond were more Elven than Mannish (9 part elf, 6 part man, 1 part maia, if I counted right). So they grew mostly elvish caracteristics. Since Elros choose to be a man, the elvish caractistics would be less appearent on him than on his brother, who choose to be elf (Ilúvatar awakening men's gene on Elros, elves' gene on Elrond). So Elros would only have small pointed ears, while Elrond more fully (but not totally) pointed ears.

Elors children would be "9,22,1", so they are more human. Even if indeed they must have been elvish style, they must of faded away, except those gene that will forever be appearent (deep eyes, tall, clever). On Elrond's side, Arwen would have been "25,6,1", so she may have had a few mannish characteristic, but we may think that everything mannish in her is hidden in her genes.

For Elros children's children, I'm quite sure they had nothing else than what we call Dúnedain characteristics. But what I'm sure, is that most people that survived the Downfall (except the Drúedain) were of Melian's descent (and indeed having family in Aman ;)). (If you count, there can be no other possiblity...)

But Imrahil of Dol Amroth gives us the extend of how an Elvish blood passes. If it was still in presence after a thousand years, this is worth mithril (y) So, maybe did for the first years did Elros' heirs looked elvish to the people, but they looked mostly indeed as men. Aragorn surely didn't possess any pointed ears. And, if so, never do Elvish strains die, if there are still heirs for that blood.
