  1. As for the urbanism, there has been previous critics about New Orleans. i know at least one Canadian city that has the same concerns : Richmond, in the Vancouver region. The island on which it is installed in lower than the sea level. IT might happen the same thing as in New Orleans : sinking of the city followed by intrusion of the river and the sea...

Well the half of Holland is below sea-level, but then again, we don't have any hurricanes around here, and I think that's the same with Canada.

You know that in the Netherlands something very similar happened in 1953, thousands of people died back then because of a large flood. What the Dutch did after it is building huge sea barriers to stop the sea from flooding the lands. To many people outside the Netherlands it seemed like a madman's project but it served them very well, since then the Netherlands is very safe from disasters like that. So  I think it would be very wise of the US government to have a look at the region here, how the Dutch prevent such disasters from happening, even if it costs a whole lot of money for such projects.

True, but you know, they already did look at Holland to see what they could do with New Orleans. But well, waves or 6 meters are hard to stop with just dyks. And the sea barriers in Holland also can't be placed just anywhere, like the one in the port of Rotterdam is pretty useless for New Orleans.

  2. Hey RexTroianus (Trojan King :D ), welcome to the WFG forum. I'm nobody important, just a random guy posting and giving feedback, as most people around here. It's a great forum and make sure to visit this often. ;)

    :)

And about your models, although your models do look pretty good, the lightning could be a bit better, it doesn't look real. Hope that helps. :P
