  1. PS: I hope that we all understand that the main reason for attacking Iraq was never to liberate it (or to destroy that never found mass-destruction weapons)! That's what was used in public. Because if the coalition would really think that to be important then they have a lot more wars to wage.

what was the main reason then?

  2. i think seperating the country could lead to more problems than they have now. first of all, doing this might lead to the eventual take over of these areas by militant leaders of the area. another( more probable ) problem would be anger between two sections because "they have the oil" or "they got more land than us" leader to fighting between those two areas.

  3. That pledge seems to favour one group (those who believe in "God")over another group (those who don't) and that's wrong, in my opinion, because a nation based on liberal (liber=freedom) should be impartial and so should it's pledge be.

And besides: who said that God gives the USA his blessings?

if the words "under god" were removed would it be alright?

  4. if I must move to be able to do my best, so will I do.

wouldnt moving to a better country go against this? ok, so people living under a "bad" government are usually worse off, right? then by you moving to a "good" government you would be better off, and so would the people around you. you would be deserting those who need help the most.

sorry about the simple sentences, its hard to explain in writing

  5. Bush is trying to tell it

i hadnt read the article before, but now that i have.... the key word is "trying"...maybe he shouldnt be so pushy with europe but his intentions are right and he is trying to do the right thing. i think the bush administration feels it is necessary that the western world accept the muslim world to ease relations between the two(if that makes sense).

  6. You know how angry Americans would be if the European Union together (as a sort of superpower) started dictating to the American government how to deal with Mexico?

can you please explaine how we are "dictating" europe? :)

  7. Bees protect their larvaes until they are strong enough to live.

isn't this the same as a mother taking care of their child. i think it is much different for family members to help each other out than for the government to do so...wouldnt you agree? :)

  8. i would be fine giving my money to hard working families who are falling behind but are still giving it everything they have but that is not exactly how it works in america. many of the people on welfare are using it (like erik said) to buy and sell drugs. i watched a movie on it in a social studies class and it is disgusting how many people and how effectively they are tricking the system. :)

  9. fascist...under a strong ruler that will keep everyone in line, yet the people willstill have(most of the) rights that they have in america today. i would have a strong military and i would definately keep the government out of economics as much as possible.

i have many more plans plotted out for this, how it would come to power, what it would do after in came to power, but i dont feel like writing out everything i've thought up

i know you liberals are gonna think i'm crazy for this but i think in order to have a great society, you need a strong ruler and government to keep the people in line.

    enjoy :)

  10. I think it's very egoistic to say that someone who comes from a poor family that can't pay college money just has to accept that position.

klaas, i'm not saying that they have to except that position at all...i'm saying they are going to have to work to around that position. ya, it may be unfair that they have to work so much harder than everyone else becuase they have more of an obstacle to get over but that is how capitalism works.
