*dances for joy*
Alright, a fellow Anime watcher, woot!
The ones that I've seen(that you mentioned)
Evangelion(never seen the alternate endings)
Ghost in the Shell(own)
Ninja Scroll(own)
Inuyasha(borrowed, didn't get it to finish the entire series)
Vampire Princess Miyu(didn't really like the anime, but I thought the music was excellent, and I still listen to it regularly)
Depending on what you like in an Anime, you should definately watch Love Hina and Noir
Noir probably has the best music I've ever heard in an Anime, with Berserk coming in a close 2nd.
-
Ack! I feel like I'm being cornered here...
You know you watch too much Anime when...
You begin referring to your teachers as 'senpai'
-
There's so many..... I CAN"T DECIDE!!! AAAAAAAH
For straight up playing with your emotions, it's gotta be Berserk(Anime, not Manga). For Fun, Love Hina, and for making you think about life, that's gotta be Haibane Renmei.
If you can't tell, I'm a HUUUUUUGE Anime fan
-
I'm sorry, what did you say?
I wasn't paying attention.
-
I've been slacking off lately, and haven't read much any international news, so I don't really know what the 'christians' have or have not done.
You should pay attention then. Christianity is being banned in a certain country, you'd think that they'd worry more about not allowing that to happen, than a black woman showing a breast on TV. I'll leave the name of the country up to you as an exercise

Gotta love it.
I'm sure there were a ton of kids who had never seen a breast that watched the halftime show. Will that affect them in some way? I don't think so, but that's just what I think, I can't know.I think we need to do away with breast feeding. I certainly don't want my child irreparably damaged.
PS
For those that get irreperably damaged when they see a breast, don't scroll down and read the comments below the story(2nd link), a closeup of her nipple was posted.
*enjoys being irreparably damaged, and thus, goes off in search of more breasts*
-
Well yeah, in a way. Take the nazis instead. Atleast here in Sweden it's a big deal that children are taught how bad what the nazis did, since knowledge like that will allow them to make better judgements.
That's called control. If the Nazi's had won, they'd be doing basically the same thing, except from the other side
As for the rest of your post, I agree with you. The NFL *had* to react simply for show, or they would have had christians running amok, and they don't want that. That I can agree wholeheartedly with.
My problem is more with the 'christians' themselves, and how they're reacting. The way they're reacting, whether it was done purposefully or not, is going to get them exactly what they *don't* want. Remember, famous peeps are notorious for coming out of scandal even more popular than before they went in.
I mean come on, it was a breast. I doubt there's a person alive who hasn't ever seen a breast(blind people excluded, of course
.

hrmmm, I am, but I keep getting beaten to the answer
Although I didn't know that last one.

LOL, maybe I should have gone ahead and wrote a program, but I was also waiting for clarifications

Something I thought of, and a reason for the lower divorce rate in atheists, etc., is you guys (correct me if i'm wrong) don't always go for a marraige, but just "live together".
Now there's a conundrum. Because we live in sin, we sin less?
It could also be that atheists/agnostics are generally more intelligent, and thus, make better decisions regarding their life.
Or it could be that atheists/agnostics don't spend their entire life hating themselves because they can't truly be christlike, resulting in a happier person.
Who knows, but the piont still remains. The numbers don't agree with what the christians claim.

OMG, Winona Ryder. I've been in love with her ever since BeetleJuice. I remember watching Girl, Interrupted, and she's *way* hotter than Angelina Jolie
King Tut, I sent you an email with attachments, let me see if I can find it.

LOL, good one!

That's either trolling or flaming depending on how you meant it, but either way, consider yourself warned. Now cool it please
Then let me explain. The notiion that the teacher was giving him tougher work to "push" him is complete crap. He would be putting himself in direct danger by doing that since, if found out, he would be promptly fired, the school put under investigation, and it put into a file that would follow his teaching career(if it weren't ended) for the rest of his life. And he's doing all this for some stupid, idealistic point about "pushing" him? Yeah right. I think the teacher was telling him that he expects more from him than most other students, and av_nefardec has slightly changed it to try and prove his point.
There's pragmatists, and then there's the people who are constantly walked on. The world has need for both, but I'd rather be the one running things.
This has to do with the topic in what way? This is about money. "rich" people are hated simply for having money. Probably noone on this board realized that most rich people did it the old fashioned way. They're neither stupid, nor lazy. They earned the money, by god, let them keep it.
This has nothing to do with that. That's what taxes are there for. Atleast here, fines are used directly on roads and whatever has to do with the roads. But really, I'm just repeating myself over and over. Are you just going to keep repeating the same thing over and over or do you have any new angle to bring up?I dunno, are you going to continue ignoring select parts of my posts? Here, let me quote myself so you don't miss it again.
Then how about: Anyone with X number of traffic violations within Y amount of days will get their license revoked for Z days. If they're caught driving before Z days is up, the go to jail. If they get X number of traffic violations in Y amount of days *again*, they go straight to jail, and pay heavy fines(same for EVERYONE). -
I bet that was your defining moment. The moment that changed your life *rolls eyes*.
Something tells me your teacher was filling your head full of bull@#$% since he'd definately get fired for that.
Anyways, this particular issue is about safety here. You can't have people driving as fast as they feel like it just because they feel they can afford the consequences. That's dangerous to other drivers. No it's not, it's about money. Ever heard of a speed trap? Do you think they do it for money or for safety? Why do you think yellow lights are so short in the US? You got it, it get's violated more often, more fines are given, more money brought in. If they were worried about 'safety', they'd extend the time of the light so that the critical decision could be made farther from the light.
Anyone who thinks this isn't about money doesn't really understand how the world works.
I'm not going to get into far-left social stratification, but, class (in America moreso) does affect your opportunities. Why? Parents who don't go to college generally don't care so much (or can't afford) college education in their children. No college = lower class. That's basically what I said... Except I'd like to note that no college doesn't necessarily mean lower class.

*eagerly awaits the posting of his two screenshots*

I seriously hope you're just making fun of me.... (how often does that happen, heh).
-
Something else I just thought of. Now, not only do we have racial profiling, we have income profiling. A person driving a crappy looking car is *less likely* to get pulled over for speeding than, say, a brand new Ford Taurus, even though neither one of them is a sports vehicle.

lol, yes I did, and it took me longer to write everything down than it did for me to actually do it

I am *so* not doing your homework, especially something that simple.

I think a simple recursive approach is probably best(that's how I would do it).
avoids loops, and makes logic much easier, but I'm not the one putting this together, so I guess this post is useless, lol.

I just came across this signature that made me laugh, so I thought I'd share it with everyone
Sometimes the signatures that people come up with kill me
I've been accused of a great many things in my time. But paranoid has never been one of them.
Unless people have been saying it behind my back...

1) Most of the disagreements is about when life *starts*. I don't think anyone disagrees that, after "life" starts(quoted because it can mean slightly different things to different people)., aborting it is immoral, unethical, and *should* be illegal.
2) The consistution isn't an end all be all, it can be amended, but I understand your point
