  1. Problem joining the multiplayer lobby

    Hello everybody,

    I am an old player out of the game for almost a year. Now trying to rejoin the lobby with the same user and password the game says:

    "The server's certificate could not be verified or the TLS handkshake did not complete successfully"

    It is the very first time I see something like this, and I do not know how to fix it. Can anyone help me out with this?

    One thing you could try is to disable tls in game options -> lobby, but you loose this protection.

    You could ask your internet provider about this popup, but from looks of it, it should be safe to allow it. I am NOT saying it is ok to permit it, you shall do so on your own risk.

    Thank you very much, it solved the problem. But Idk why since I never changed that option... Still it worked so I am grateful ♥

    Hello!

    I have some trobule since I changed the internet connection, every time I try to log into the multiplayer lobby the 0ad stops and my PC shows the stuff displayed below. I have searched how to fix it but I do not find anything clear and I have tried many different ways but none has worked.... If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

    I should remark that my PC had no trobule like this with other routers, so I think we could discard a PC problem.

    1) first rated game start from 1200. I'm fighting to get back that level, how about starting from zero? 

    2) I think multiplayer has become much more demanding in last months. 

    3) It impossible to know, what level opponent you will face. 

    4) When playing something like 4x4, lower rated players tends to be kicked out or otherwise harassed. I think this is poor behavior. When i host big game, I try to remember tell FFA (free for all) and do my best for balancing. Nothing is more frustrating than wait game start for a hour and then got replaced. In pro game this is ok, but then that should be stated in game name.

    5) Should multiplayer game have free text field, that states hosts personal expectations? 

    6) Is there any kind of help text, which tell how rating works? I havent found. I think well fighted game deserves more points (or less point lose) even if result is defeat.

    I totally agree with you in the 3rd point, thats the main reason I tried to improve so hard. People does not respect if u under 1300.... This should definetly change

    If you have a reason for why you can't play until Sunday EOD please send an email/PM/comment (with me and/or @DerekO on cc) and we can reschedule no problem.
     
    If no reason is provided and the player is not present in the lobby at 19 PM CET, player automatically forfeits.

    If both players are not present in the lobby at specified time, and none provides an alternative schedule, it's a tie.
     
    If one of the players is present at the specified time, or has been responsive and provided an alternative schedule in message with copy to me or Derek with no response from opponent,  wins by WO.
     
    Again, if you can't play for whatever reason, that's not a problem at all, you can play in a more opportune occasion and won't lose the match, just let us know ahead of time.

    Hello,

    I have been connected these days and I haven't seen MarcAurel connected, so I do not know if we will play before tomorrow. @badosu is aware of my situation referring to work so I guess we won't play before the end of the week. I don't know how to get in contact with MarcAurel but I do know I would not like to win only because of his inactivity, I think is not fair because I would probably lose.
