  1. https://vsl.co.at/en/Vienna_Software_Package/Vienna_Ensemble_PRO#!System_Requirements this one seems to be cheap
  2. the vsl of kontakt by native instruments, and the Vienna symphonic library (the original one, I mean), are two completely distinct products, with very different production quality level. you can find the original VSL here, and get an idea of what I am talking about https://vsl.co.at/en and I have tested both, so I do perfectly know what I am talking about
  3. there may be torrents around, but I will not be posting that. otherwise this is probably one of the most expensive libraries around there. but you can get smaller packages and parts of it for around 300-400 dollars each. of course that those are the most recent version so definitely worths checking those
  4. try to download VIENNA SYMPHONIC LIBRAY. or VSL, the big one (100gb+), I downloaded it but lost it because I could not install it on my because It was for windows. but this vsl definitely worths checking it
  5. if you want a midi and a pdf, here it is sem Título.pdf sem Título.mid
  6. in relation to the more orchestral kind of music, here you have some stuff. it doesn't sound really that great, but yeah sem Título.ogg i uploaded both score and ogg file.
  7. in relation to the last synthetic sound you have here some stuff _(Freeze).wav i will also be posting a midi composition made specifically on purpose for this kind of music. that I would draw within maybe 10 or 20 minutes
  8. in relation to the second sample here is my try Hihat-SessionDry-Stick-Tip-005-Hard (Freeze).wav
  9. in relation to the first sample, I mean the percussive one, here is one example. perhaps not as sophisticated, in terms of rhythm and articulation, once it's sequenced manually, but you sort of get an idea 1 4-Audio.aif
  10. ok i will come up with the alerts you asked me. if you guys need midi compositions to turn out into audio, like early music (inspired by profanum music from Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque period), I can perfectly help
  11. Someone pointed me out to this forum thread. It’s mention in this thread that when people can record the instruments themselves, that’s the ideal, but when that is not the case, OmriLahav is happy to look into midi files and scores. you can check some examples of scores I did in the summer in imslp.org. https://imslp.org/wiki/As_I_Look_Towards_the_Margin,_I_see_a_Glimmer..._(Morgado,_Tiago_Morais) this is an example of a piece in the style of steve reich/Terry Riley. and then I have another file, which is more like modern classical (or pop much with influences of XVII and XIX century classical music - so, baroque, and romantic music), which you can listen here http://imslp.org/wiki/Sorrow_(Morgado,_Tiago_Morais) both examples were written very spontaneously and quickly, and I think I can easily come up with tons of scores in the style of what you care looking for the game, and sending them to OmriLahav, just like he point's out in the given mail. looking forward, cheers. tiago
  12. I have seen OmriLahav feedback on the given forum thread. he actually mentions that it's great when people can record the instruments themselves, but when that is not the case, he's happy to look into midi files and scores. regarding, your question, my sound portfolio is not currently very organized. but you can check some examples of scores I did in the summer in imslp.org. https://imslp.org/wiki/As_I_Look_Towards_the_Margin,_I_see_a_Glimmer..._(Morgado,_Tiago_Morais) this is an example of a piece in the style of steve reich/Terry Riley, which is not perhaps what we are looking for here. in some cases things may turn to work. and then I have another file, which is more like modern classical (or pop much with influences of XVII and XIX century classical music - so, baroque, and romantic music), which you can listen here http://imslp.org/wiki/Sorrow_(Morgado,_Tiago_Morais) both examples were written very spontaneously and quickly, and I think I can easily come up with scores in the style of what you care looking for the game, and sending them to OmriLahav, just like he point's out in the given mail. looking forward, cheers. tiago
  13. Greetings everyone I am new to 0. A.D. community, but I would like to contribute to it with sound design assets. I am interested in contributing to music content. The way I think I can be a most valuable resource, is by creating midi compositions, that could be used for such a kind of game, and either someone provides me with sample libraries to run my midi files throughout, or I send the midi files, and then the good ones, someone will run them throughout the game sample libraries. My name is Tiago, I am 28, I have been professional musician for about 15yrs+ and I am working on a certain amount of both open source audio related projects (I.e.: supercollider and sonic pi, where I helped out with the documentation), and I am now trying to get into opensource sound design for videogames (like open arena and this game). I have extensive experience with tools like Sibelius, Finale, Ableton, Logic, MaxMSP, CSound, Supercollider, Pure Data, Kyma (although I don't have one, reason why I stick to Integra Live), etc. Looking forward, kind regards Tiago
