  4. @niektb ran one of my midi files throughout his samples. the is the pre-alpha result of the thing. so, it's work in progress. I think the tempo is general speaking pretty slow. what do you guys think? looking forward. cheers
  5. @Lion.Kanzen piano. but this is not meant for 0 A.D. this is my instrumental composition work
  6. please grasp my insanely complex music in terms of serious artistic work this is not a contribution to 0 A.D., don't worry

  9. if you see for instance Morton Feldman or steve reich or Terry Riley they music is quite static, but has variations. and I work a lot with ostinatos in this kind of material, that I usually build cyclical variations on top of
  10. it's a draft, and I am collaborating with someone else from the community to tie them up together to make something nicer here is the recording of this last one
  11. LordGood: a track can be static and I see absolutely no problem about that. I like static and linear music. if you see many tracks, mainly in pop rock bands early stages, what they do is that they compose 8 up to 16 bars for music, make a variation of it, for having a B section, and then they just orchestrate. in my case I took as n option to create a single section and orchestrate it. I see no problem about that. but if you guys want me to bring more variation into my pieces I can do that as well without any problem looking forward for the next contribution furthermore these tracks are not finished
  12. here is another track, melancholic, in the style of what was suggested. video coming soon seppuku.zip
  13. i made a new piece in the style of sorrow. sorrow is a bit about classical modern kind of stuff. see olafur arnalds, see max Richter for instance. as I walk towards a margin, as a techno feel. but it's much more like minimalistic classical music in the style of Terry Riley and steve reich
  14. let me know if this is suitable for the game string_quartet_piece.zip for me sounds to emotive. maybe for an rpg scene it would fit. I don't know if it fits for 0 A.D.
  15. here you have a complete piece of music for the game, done just right now, in about 20-40 minutes. consists of a woodwind quartet with flute, oboe, bassoon, horns, and harpsichord. I initially also have added like a timpani. but right now I only have like a the melodic section, once it didn't fit quite well. the piece is relatively short. (32 bars). but can be looped into sections and triggered during game action. the file was written in musescore, and you can download it in midi, ogg vorbis, pdf, and the music source file. looking forward. kind regards wildfire games.zip you are also free to modify it
  16. so, maybe tomorrow, because right now I am already a bit too tired, I will come up with something and share it here
  17. let's say I come along with a decent score in the style of the one I previously posted here. would you be interested in using your samples to kind of giving it a bit more of organicity? cheers
