Guess what. Taiwan is a nation, thus the Taiwanese live there. Guess what. America is a nation, thus Americans live here. BTW, guess what. Israel is a nation, thus Israelis live there.Guess what. Israel is a nation created illegally by British colonialists in 1948. Israel was created through violence, destruction, inhumanity and on the basis of a prophecy which really only applies to Jews. Israel is ILLEGAL, although the world won't admit it since the U.S., a superpower, can veto anything brought up against Israel. Thus, Israelis illegally live there.
Not to mention the so many U.N. condemnations of Israel that were vetoed..
Look, if you want, I can give you so many examples of the world's attempts to bring Israel to justice- and how Israel thwarted them. Just try me on that one. Its your call.

One picture apparently shows an Iraqi prisoner standing on a box with his head covered and wires attached to his hands.
Some of the images published on one London-based newspaper's Web site show naked, hooded prisoners. In one, a male and a female soldier smile as they pose with prisoners.
P.S., there is a picture of two Israeli soldiers posing for a picture ontop of a dead civilian's body.

In fact, I'm very open minded on this, and my "studies" have led me to the fact that the area was given to the 13 (yes, 13) tribes of Israel by God before anyone else had officially "laid claim" to it. Israel cultivated the land, made an oasis out of a desert, and guess what? Everyone else wants in. Judging by the events of the past, and God's portioning of the land, the Palestinians own no rights to the land. Of all the answers to my arguments, this is the worst and most naive of all. So far most of the crowd has given me reasonable arguments but for you to come up and tell me that Palestinians should be raped, killed, murdered and evicted from their homeland just because God (supposedly..erm, these are stories..not real) gave the Jews Palestine thousands of years ago?

I've been a regular on the now gone EEH (empire earth heaven). In the days before the war in Iraq, everyone would argue with me on the WMDs- they all agreed that they existed. Infact, every single thing Bush says, they trusted.
Now the war is over. I asked them- where are the WMDs, more than a year after the war begun? Their answer- some of them say they haven't been found yet, that Saddaam is a mastermind who sent them to Syria, and others say that it doesn't matter.
Which comes to an interesting question. How stupid is the American public? One second Bush is telling them about WMDs which will be found in two secs, the next second he's completely ignoring questions on the WMDs and using different excuses to justify the attacks.
Is this the only thing? No. The U.S. public is as stupid as it gets (politically, ofcourse). They know nothing about the Palestinian-Israeli cause. All they hear about it is what they hear from Bush and Sharon- terrorist terrorist terrorist. Its really sickening to watch them talk about something they don't know one thing about.
What about you? Your opinion on the A.P.'s general political intellect?

a) Palestinians target civilians because its the only thing they can target. Motivation is also different. Al Qaeda targets innocents for its own wild reasons, while the Palestinians target civilians to gain their freedom. If you house was destroyed (and a new one built for a jew), your wife raped (by a jew), your kids slaughtered (by a jew, yet again), your life destroyed (by a jew)- wouldn't you want to kill them? Oh, not everyone likes to kiss Israel's @#$% (ALA Bush).
And what's wrong with that? What happened the last two times the west (U.S.A.) entered into MEastern affairs? Iraq was invaded(twice), thousands of civilians murdered. Why don't we go back even more?In 1948 it was only western intervention that allowed the destruction of a palestinian homeland and the emmergance of Israel (which was created through violence and destruction).
c) Again, the goal is different. The only way to achieve freedom is through violence. Its been proved in so many nations. The U.S.A., France, Algeria, that new nation near Indonesia...
If your goal is freedom, than your actions might not be justified in the eyes of the victims but they cannot be immediately considered terrorist actions just because they're not one of your own.

You seem to only think that Muslims are affected. The Israelis have bombed and destroyed more than their share of churches. Infact, does anyone remember the stand-off at the Bethlehem Church? Hmm how easily people forget when they want to...
Look, its simple. If you're going to condemn militants, condemn the reason they're there. Its to resist an illegal, brutal occupation. Simple as that. The results of an OCCUPATION will always be RESISTANCE.
And its always in the interest of the occupying nation to call the freedom fighters terrorists.

I'm curious- how would you feel if you lived back in the 1700s and the British called you terrorists for resisting occupation and wanting freedom (American Revolution).
What I'm saying is, just because Al Qaeda are terrorists- doesn't mean a freedom fighter is.

Actually, the main (public) goal of Al Qaeda is to free muslim lands from western occupation (I.E. Iraq, Afghanistan).
The private goal is to create a new "order"- like a terrorist super power. When Bin Laden offered the European Union a truce, they all replied, even though negatively. As if a truce from a terrorist should be even considered! Furthermore, if he ever attacks Europe big-time, the government(s) are going to be in huge trouble.
Called strategic terrorism.
