  1. Not necessarily. How many civs did AOK's expansion pack add to AOK compared to the original list? How many civs did AOM's expack add to AOM? ;)

Right now, I can only really see adding these civs in Part 2:

Imperial Romans (The "Five Good Emperors" era)

    Early Byzantines (roughly AD 500)

Germans (perhaps split these into as many as 3 "Germanic" civs as we split the Hellenes into 3 "Hellenic" civs)

    Huns

    Sarmatians

    Parthians

    Dacians

If we did 3 Germanic civs, then that would be a list of 9 factions. Not bad. I can't see adding the Guptas because they'd be extremely similar to the Mauryans (but maybe that's a selling point, as they'd be easier to add). Maybe add the Mayans though... They would add some nice variety.

Due to the similarities between Parthians and Sassanids in terms of language and general military, we can have two "Iranic" civs similar to the way celts are now.

  2. After a match with by brother in a map of the same name in AOM, I decided not to delay it more. The map is essentially unknown. You can find yourselves in many situations, most of them came from the themes of the existing maps. I am going to add more themes in near future but I can't be sure if it would be ready before this release. The amount of trees, hills, mines and animals are random, meaning that you can find yourself in a game without much metal and wood but with a lot of stone. I couldn't make screenshots (I'll make one as soon as I can) so you must update your svn version of the game to see this and bug reports are very much appreciated. No more talk. Hope you enjoy. :)

  3. I agree more with the way C&C Generals worked. Capturing buildings was not the default choice and you had to click on a button and then order your infantry to capture. When it was done, you could train the units of the other faction. I think we should implement such a system and do not remove the ability of the infantry to attack buildings. Walls are different and this gives another reason to fortify your base with walls. It would be very annoying to be forced to capture a building when you don't have a siege weapon (remember than 3 of the factions only have battering rams and Mauryans are going to have similar "elephant" units.) especially if that building is a house that is preventing you from reaching the enemy cc.

  4. We have a dragon, an airplane, and an elven ship, we could have cheats to spawn those.

Oh, and typing "realism" could make the game sepia and, "idspispopd" which turns off collision and allows unit to walk anywhere.

The airplane is already here. But the dragon needs animations and I haven't seen any elven ship.

imjupitermaximusoptimus=inmortal own units(your units can die)

    You mean "can't" die?

  5. What about people who want to play but don't have much time?

It is better for such people to play independent games instead of tournament because they'll be declared loser if they don't play their game. Still, I think we should declare a "period" for each round when the pairs agree on a time to play. Also I think we should separate the tournament into two timezones, america and europe (east asia can be added if enough volunteers are found)
