@BL : as for tying up second rpt *shrugs* not much i can do. Unless i revive one of the 15 that were in the air and make him/her kill Black Op's char. The rest are in their new realm. If BO says that Mith and Mironir can do it, I'll leave it at that.
@Yiuel : lol indeed. Also the look I want Tiriel to take in the mind of the people of the rpt
-
Yes, like Yiuel said, it's more of a brother-sister relationship. They will turn to each other for support indeed, but in a sibling kind of way. And if it happens to be, Estelvan and/or Tiriel may find a lover in this rpt. But that will all depend on the circumstances.

Gonna post this fast... a bit of history about my own character.
History
Tiriel was born in Aman, on the border of the sea. She never saw Middle-Earth although she heard and read a great deal about it. She was raised by her parents within the Falmari community. Half of the time on land and the other half on a boat, she learned to be at ease on both and acquired a very good sense of balance. She had been taught by her parents not to approach anyone of the Noldor for they had lived to see the outcome of the massacre Feanor had unleashed and were still deeply marked by it. Thus, she passed most of her early years confined within the community, learning only from them. But as any child, she had a great sense of curiosity and pleaded her parents to let her go to some of the parties at Valmar. After much discussion, they did let her go with some of their own friends who frequented those parties.
On her first time, she had been so excited she had run around everywhere eventually managing to fall and stumble, bringing another elf down with her. That elf (half-elf actually) was Estelvan…
“Aie!" cried both.
For a few seconds, in the midst of joy of Valmar, they were looking one to each other with big eyes, they watched both as curiosities silently, and then finally asked, at the same time.
“Who are you?”
Both kids weren't crying: such thing is impossible when Melian was there signing with her master Vána the ever young. They were just laughing as it was to much strange. They just helped each other get up, and then Estelvan grinned at someone behind her. Tiriel turned around and saw a rather majestic couple walking toward them hurriedly. The mother kneeled beside him, not really worried, but just wanting to make sure. The father just gave the kid a small pat on the head. Tiriel looked worried at first, waiting for a reprimand or something but they said nothing of the sort, the father just looked at her and asked her name. She realized she had not yet presented herself properly and blushed.
“I am Tiriel. Uh…I…uh…who are you?”
She blushed even more. It was not proper to ask people like that. But at the moment, she couldn’t help it. And the Elf-maiden answer : I am called Celebrian, and here is Elrond, also called I Peredhil, the half-Elven. And the small one here is Estelvan.
"It is I!"
And then, Celebrian asked the girl from where she came.
"The sea !" She pointed in the direction of her house. She shrugged. "I shouldn't be saying this, my mom won't be happy. Sorry I bumped on you !" And ran off.
Estelvan cried : "Wait!"
Tiriel turned around. "What ?"
Why don't you stay here. Look, we have a great view over the celebrations.
Tiriel looked in the direction of the group that had accompanied her. They were still going to remain for a while at least. "You sure I won't bother ? Mom said to be careful of the other elves." She gave a slight smile. "You look nice. I don't think she would mind me staying with you."
"Strange are those words of being careful, Eldar should be all friends... Some stupidlings were foolish in the past, be sure I'm not of their kind, even though I share their kin. Don't be afraid." Elrond looked at his son perplexed, but he didn't mind at all. "Let's be friends for sometime, I'll show you.", continued Estelvan.
"I guess we could," She gave a beaming smile. "I don't think my mom should know. She is still afraid of something, my dad too." She was a bit confused about it, since Estelvan and his parents appeared to be kind people. "Can we play ?" She looked at both parents.
Elrond : "As all here should be. Pleasure is the day, happiness our life."
As he said that, Tiriel came back and grabbed Estelvan by the hand. They played all afternoon after what; she saw her parent’s friends looking for her and left, promising Estelvan to meet him again, if he wanted to.
The friendship grew over the years, with the parents of Tiriel eventually figuring it out. It took a long conversation with Elrond for their fear to ebb and eventually dissapear. Afterwards, all went quite well and when Estelvan decided to depart for Middle Earth, she decided to go with him.

my turn
Le Loup et le Chien
(The dog and the wolf)
Un loup n'avait que les ost et la peau;
(The wolf only had bone and skin)
tant les Chiens faisaient bonne garde.
(since the dogs guarded so well)
(This wolf meet a dog as powerful as it was beautiful)
(fat, polite, who had gone the wrong path by error)
L'attaquer, le mettre en quartiers,
(To attack it, to put him in pieces)
Sire Loup l'eût fait volontiers.
(Sir Wolf would have done it gladly)
Mais il fallait livrer bataille,
(But he had to fight a battle)
Et le Mâtin ßetait de taille
(And the dog was big enough)
A se défendre hardiment.
(He'd defend himself boldly)
Le Loup donc l'aborde humblement
(The Wolf thus approaches him humbly(Sp?))
Entre en propos, et lui fait compliment
(start a conversation and compliment's him)
Sur son embonpoint, qu'il admire.
(on his plumpness, he admires)
"Il ne tiendra qu'à vous, beau Sire,
("It will be due only to you, beautiful Lord,)
(to be as fat as I am, says the dog)
Quittez le bois, vous ferez bien :
(quit the woods, you better do)
Vos pareils y sont misérables,
(your kin are miserable here)
Cancres, hères, et pauvres diables,
(Dunces, wretches, and poor devils,)
(whose condition is to die of hunger)
Car quoi? Rien d'assuré : point de franche lippée :
(Because what? Nothing assured: no honest food (not sure here))
Tout à la point de l'épée.
(All at the point of the sword.)
Suivez-moi : vous aurez un bien meilleur destin."
(Follow me : you'll have a better destiny)
Le loup reprit : "Que me faudra-t-il faire?
(The wolf replies : What will I have to do ?)
(almost nothing, says the dog, chase the people)
Portant bâtons, et mendiants;
(carrying sticks and beggars)
Flatter ceux du logis, à son Maître complaire;
(flatter thoseat home, comply to your master)
Moyennant quoi votre salaire
(In consideration of which your wages)
Sera force reliefs de toutes les facons :
(will be forced reliefs in all the ways)
Os de poulets, os de pegeons :
(chicken and pigeon bones)
Sans parler de mainte caresse."
(without speaking of the many caress)
Le Loup déjà se forge une félicité
(The wolf already forges his felicity)
Qui le fait pleurer de tendresse.
(which makes him cry of tenderness)
(During the way, he saw the dog's neck peeled)
"Qu'est-ce là? lui dit-il. - Rien. - Quoi`rien? - Peu de chose.
(What is that ? he asked. Nothing. What, nothing ? Nothing much)
-Mai encor? - Le collier dont je suis attachße
(But still ? The collar of which I am held)
(of what you see, it may be the cause)
(Attached ? says the Wolf : then you do not run...)
Où vous voulez? - Pas toujours, mais qu'importe?
(wherever you want ? - not always, but what's the importance ?)
(It is essential, to the point that all your meals...)
Je ne veux en aucune sorte,
(I don't want any kind of them)
(And I wouldn,t even want, at that price, a treasure)

-
Tim told me he had to compare it to the Fables de Lafontaine...
dunno if "Les misérables de Victor Hugo" can be compared to that... plus, it's not "une fable". (someone care to give me the translation of "fable" in english ?
)
