  1. to avoid cheating with civic centre spawning, what about if civic centre cost is proportional to the distance to the nearest civic center (or border) of your faction? and maybe inverse proportional to the distance to the nearest enemy civic centre (or border)?

    Also, if you know how culture works in Civilization 4, the construction of some buildings like temples and theaters affects the cultural influence that your faction has on nearby players

    how about this idea to satisfy both of you?

    (I hacked trac/Timeline.py to say

    event['message'] = re.sub(ur"[^\x09\x0a\x0d\x20-\ud7ff\ue000-\ufffd]", u"\ufffd", to_unicode(message))

    which seems to stop it dying fatally. (XML is so awesome.))

    for me the problem is that i use a different password for every site i'm registered, so, if i can avoid to register to the site, i prefer not to register

    maybe you could relax permissions also for arabian night's map ;)

  5. Just to let you know that I like this Easter Egg (well, it really looks like a test for flying objects) that will be in Alpha VI:

    The P51-Mustangs can also fight themself and drop bombs on structures!

    It would be nice to add a bit of other WWII vehicles (e.g. Sherman, Panzer IV, Stuka) and a proper map to have a mini WWII game inside 0 A.D.!

    and also a crusade mod, a renaissance mod, a napoleonic mod, a..................... :P
