  2. I actually thought of bringing this up after noticing just how important terrain is in Starcraft II. I say go for it. I was also considering not allowing units to shoot too far up. So if some archers are on very high ground they would not be able to be shot by units on regular ground level. I'm not sure if that's going too far however.

  3. Most animals from that list just don't exist in the game for the moment. I you want to check that, just search for the name of the animal in the Atlas tool (scenario editor). If you don't find it, it's missing. The other animals are mostly lacking animation (they just glide forward instead of walking). Some (like the tiger) are even still missing textures.

  5. The comparison is not apt. UnitAI is basic gameplay. Ambient sound fx are ambiance.

  6. In any case I would need to write to /data/local and that requires root permissions. The game is surprisingly playable on an S3. Long press instead of right click, pinch to zoom in & out. With some decent effort put it, it could definitely be playable enough for most people.
