you can always garrison the wall towers for them to shoot I think + the possibility to put ranged units on the wall itself.

Looks pretty good... I don't know enough about trees to spot a misplaced species (maybe if you click and search about them), but remember to remove the camels  

Yeah, I'd try mixing the Persia and Aegean terrains to achieve your desired effect.
