Single player match loads and says "you won"!

Sorry if this is a dup, I did try to search for it w/o success.

Windows 10 system. I've been playing single-player matches in map order. I had just won "Caspian Sea" and moved to "Cisalpine" map. The match loaded and I immediately received a "You won" dialog. This is now happening on all 2-player matches, including previously played maps. Maps with multiple AI players seem to load and play OK. I tried deleting cache file, no change. I uninstalled and re-installed the game, no change.

Any advice how to return to normal behavior would be appreciated!

That sounds odd. Maybe check your match settings if you accidentally clicked something weird there. (Settings will persist even if you un-/re-install.)

Next suggestion would be to upload a replay of such a game, maybe with your logs folder.

Found the problem, it was me, a noob thing I guess. The "Caspian" scenario is designed for 2v2 play, so I set the first 2 players, myself and an AI, as team 1. i set the remaining 2 AI's as team 2. I didn't realize this setting carries forward onto other maps, including 2-player only maps. The "team 1" settings stayed for the only 2 players, so no opponents, thus an immediate "you won"!!!  I reset the two players to team "none" and all works properly now.
