Before you change anything, please make a backup of all user-storage for 0 A.D. We are trying to track down the cause of certain bugs that can cause a black or garbled screen, and we need to know how to reproduce the symptoms. Silier Posted September 16, 2021 Report Share Posted September 16, 2021 Hi, assuming you did not modify anything by yourself, following steps should fix your issue: when you install a25, please do the following: start 0ad open settings -> mod selection make sure only 0ad is in list of enabled mods -> save and restart If issue is still not fixed take a look here for paths https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths find user.cfg open in text editor locate mod.enabledmods change line to this: mod.enabledmods = "mod public" find cache folder delete it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately if you tell him to change things without first making a backup copy of his config files, mod files, cache files, etc., it ruins the opportunity to figure out how this happened. We're trying to figure out the root causes of the problem described here, and we need to know which mods users installed and what sequence of events lead up to the point where the screen was black or garbled.
