Motivation II

In this issue: 5. Quick motivation helpers

1.

If you want to apply for a new job, want to learn a new language or finally want to do some more sports ? However, you never got around to start doing these things ? Experts of motivation say that you should start things that you want to do within 72 hours. To start something the next day is alright, but next week you won't remember it.

2.

Even if the day was plain crap, there is always something that was alright. An area where you got one step ahead. COuld well be a nice dialogue with a collegue that you thought would have a difficult personality. Everyday you should take down notes about your success, small and big success. In the longterm it will give you a more positive view.

3.

If you want to do something it's important that you know your strengths and that you know how to use them. Think about what you are incredibly good at. If you are not sure: good friends might have the answer.

4.

Perhaps you have a dream in front of your eyes, an aim, that you want to achieve. However, at the same time you feel like standing in front of a big mountain ? YOu don't know where to start ? Tip: Separate your big aim into many tasks. Then you have more motivation to eventually start and you can have success a faster way. It's that convincing feeling again (see Motivation I), that we struggle for. :brow:

5.

If you want to have success, you shouldn't be shy. Neither inside nor outside of your thoughts. Instead of "I try my best", "I want to try that" you could also say "I can and will do that!".

-----------

Hope that helps you some. Re-reading them from time to time helps a lot. ;)
