kor
Cool Marcus, my sister was planning to study Egyptology in Leiden but then changed her mind to studying Comparative Indo-European Studies. Also pretty interesting.I myself will start a study of history at Groningen University next year, specialise in the medieval and early modern age (roughly 1200-1815 is my favourite period). What my actual job will be, no idea. Might become a journalist, or hopefully an academic job, ie writing books and such. I wouldn't want to be a high school teacher in any case. There's plenty of opportunities; apparently the government here also hires historians for a variety of jobs, most of which have nothing to do with history directly. Marcus Petrius
It's a pretty though course. Especially middle-egyptian is hard. Everything can mean five things (and twelve more things if it's written another way).
