Phalanx
Has anybody else realized how dark and symbolic the unit xp/resource gathering trade off is?

The modern problem that combat vets are facing. How its hard to integrate back into society. This game hints at that by making veteran and elite units slower at "civilian" duties. Just something interesting I noted.
Lion.Kanzen
I'm thinking the last of my test about that... what at about upgrade the Xp military, like when a you have big time to do make work out, you are slower but keeping the work all days you back in shape to work the body, the same happen with these work. The gathering, the woodcutting, mining etc. the soldier get back to be a civilian but if is called to battle generates Xp level is more easy. these are my thoughts... Those are my thoughts exactly. For the duration of a vet unit being tasked on a resource, it slowly loses Xp and levels. Once it stops resourcing, the Xp dissipation stops, and stabilizes. This way, an elite unit that is set to guard stays elite.
Lion.Kanzen
Is like a workout in a gym, if you don't train you lose the muscles ( the experience in this way and body capacity to get in action ) but... If you go back you never forget some routines and the muscles can recovery the strength. xp for me involves : skill, experience movement combat, accuracy , body strength to combat, resistance ( like when you running every day you get more resistance ) can be nice have a penalty for garrisoned units and very idle units but may be its too complicated. may be can be 3 to 0 ( veteran soldier) and 0 to -3 ( more village skills)
