JG_ Posted December 13, 2015 Report Share Posted December 13, 2015 Hello,I play 0ad in LAN with 2 friends.For me, one of the funniest things in the game is create an strategy that works against them.With record games option, my game can be seen and studied. I lose my advantage.I think include "disable record games" as game administrator options, or, al least, "record game in fog of war mode", could be a good idea.What do you think? feneur Posted December 13, 2015 Report Share Posted December 13, 2015 As long as we are in Alpha, and possibly Beta as well, I don't think it's a good idea to disable recording of games, for the reason Lion mentioned. It's certainly something to look into for later though.From a personal level I'd suggest looking at it from a different angle: If people can learn your strategies from watching replays you will have to keep learning and experimenting -- which means more fun in the long run.
