schlomy
Hi! After reinstalling 13.1 (new motherboard, Intel I3 processor) 0ad won't start for me. Here's the deficiency:/usr/bin/pyrogenesis: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.54.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryI've tried finding that libicui8n, but no luck. Thanks! feneur
Please create a new bug report for new bugs, and also please provide a bit more information. Judging from you posting in a thread where OpenSuse has been mentioned I would presume 13.1 means OpenSuse 13.1, but it would be nice to have some more information. Is this installed from an OpenSuse provided binary or compiled yourself? If you haven't tried searching for libicu in your distro's software manager, that's probably a good start (though I would have thought that it would have been automatically installed when you installed 0 A.D., but then again I'm not an OpenSuse user so I don't have any knowledge of that software manager).
feneur
After reinstalling OpenSUSE version 13.1 (new motherboard, Intel I3 processor) 0ad won't start for me. Here's the deficiency: /usr/bin/pyrogenesis: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.54.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryI installed OpenSUSE through one of the downloaded binaries (NOT from source) and I've noticed that I do have libicu51_2 including the .devel files installed, but the /usr/bin/ directory has only an X11 subdirectory. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks!
leper
You likely installed the 0ad package from the games repository for Tumbleweed (rolling release). You should use the 13.1 repository.
schlomy
Simple is good. Thanks leper! That was apparently the problem. All better now.
