historic_bruno
Hi, please attach the crashlog files as it says, you can find them in the game's log folder. By "log in", do you mean starting the game?
mst
Yes I do mean that I can't start the game. the problem is intermittent, as in it only happens sometimes. This attached bug report is more verbose. if this does not help I will root out the one in the log folder. Thanks.bug rprt2.txt
historic_bruno
Hi, the error is identical to the one reported here. Where did you install the game? Can you check if uninstalling, then reinstalling (in the default path on the C drive) fixes this?
niektb
It isn't a problem to run from other partitions dan C:.At least on my Win XP I've installed 0 A.D. in the D: partition and everything works fine.

I wonder if people run out of disk space on C:, so choose to install on another drive/partition, but the installer fails somehow. It's strange that this error has been reported so often. niektb
I couldn't find any other files than the ones located at my D: drive. So yes, I can confirm that everything gets installed on the D: (in my case)
feneur
I'm not certain, but I do seem to recall people having had issues in the past when they didn't have enough space on the C drive - not because the game installs to it, but rather that it uses it (to store temporary files or similar) during the installation.

But the installer really should fail in that case, that's a kind of serious bug

But the installer really should fail in that case, that's a kind of serious bug Maybe it does, it might not be related to this at all. I just remembered it It would probably be helpful to know if the person encountering these issues have got any free space on the C drive in any case, just ot have one more known variable
