Phaedros
I noticed this in another recent game, that Female Citizens and even Male Citizen-Soldiers must get within melee range in order to kill a huntable animal, I'm hoping that they will be given the ability to use a bow in this case in a future build. feneur
We'll have to see when we get closer to having the game completed before making any firm decision, but in general I think it's a good thing to give different units different roles. In other words, I don't think it's necessarily bad to have ranged units be better at hunting.
FeXoR
Since mounted citicen soldiers can hunt is it really needed that female citizens can hunt at all?Of cause an attack animation doesn't hurt ^^
Pedro Falcão
It is intended for players to use cavalry for hunting, but i don't think eliminating a feature because the animation doesn't fit well is a good idea. But that was not the reason for me to post that. It was just an idea that would further derivate the roles to different units (in this case Females are better at Farming while cavalry is extremely good at hunting).
