Atlas Lagging

Okay, i've asked this before, but i never really got it solved. Here's the problem: While in Atlas world builder, it lags. No matter what- i'm in a 1 man, size small map completely blank, and yet when i try to place something or move around using the arrow keys, it freezes, then shoots ahead.

This has happened since the very first time i have tried the world builder. Whenever i am doing anything, it freezes and glitches. For example, when i am trying to place a person or building, it doesn't show up until i have either re-opened the file or placed it. Also, when i am trying to simply move around the map, it jumps and freezes, so i can be impossible to focus on one place. This happens with rotation.

Now, as i am no such sort of coder (though i wish to become one), i have no idea how to look for what is wrong. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Hmm, what version of the game are you using?

One thing I have found in the past is that the display wasn't updating unless my mouse moved. This was on Linux and got fixed by some system update.

Have you tried disabling your OS's visual effects?

I use Windows. Also, i am using the Windows version, Alpha 11.

How would i do that, myconid?
