DS McGuire
Hello, I'm not sure if this is in the right section because it's not really in the game but anyway...The icon for 0 AD is off slightly and really needs to be adjusted. Here is what it looks like on the Ubuntu (12.04) desktop: (Attached file) Also, while we are taking about this icon it needs to be a higher quality icon, when you view this icon somewhere else when it's not as small as it is on the desktop it looks blurry and very low quality.Would it be ok if I made up some icons to replace it? MishFTW
I have a nicely masked Apple ICNS but I'm not sure it'll do. I do have the original image, however.

fabio
I have a nicely masked Apple ICNS but I'm not sure it'll do. I do have the original image, however.Same image optimized with optipng -o 5 && advdef -z -4 (42KB smaller):EDIT: this is 512x512, a smaller size is probably more than enough.EDIT2: 128x128 icon, 10 time smaller in byte vs the 512x512 size after optimisation:EDIT3: original (up to alpha 9) 48x48 icon with shadow:Newer SVN (post alpha 9) icon, 128x128 still with shadow: Edited April 24, 2012 by fabio
MishFTW
Eh... with Apple you need the large size because an icon changes based on function/occurrence. For example, in cover flow, a 64x64 icon would be really blurry. Best to give flexibility of shrinking the icon to the end user
fabio
On Linux the max size is usually 128x128 (I checked in /usr/share/icons). SVG icons are preferred, I think. Edited April 7, 2012 by fabio
fabio
I updated previous post with all icons so far...I like the 128x128 version without shadow (due to the issue reported by DS McGuire).Eventually a SVG icon would even better.
