ribez
hi,the description layer for some Heroes in the History section of main menu is too tall for a 1366x768 screen resolution, for example for Celt Kunobelinos and Boudicca and for greek Xenophon. To replicate: from main menu go to History and choose the Celt civilization. move the mouse over the information point of a hero like Kunobelinos and Boudicca Edited September 17, 2011 by ribez
WhiteTreePaladin
Hmm, don't really see how that could have changed much, so it probably existed before. Needs to be fixed either way. Thanks for noticing. [edit]Ok, fixed. I think we might be trying to fit too much information in a tooltip. We should probably look at either shortening the description or displaying it in a different manner.
ribez
Do you know Civilization 4 and his help system Civilopedia? There's a modified Civilopedia called Sevopedia that could be of inspiration:http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=148253It's very practical and fast to navigate
historic_bruno
[edit]Ok, fixed. I think we might be trying to fit too much information in a tooltip. We should probably look at either shortening the description or displaying it in a different manner.Probably, I mostly copied the text verbatim from the design document. Mythos_Ruler
We could have Joshua run through the civ profiles in the DD and edit the descriptions down. Perhaps limit the descriptions to 50-60 words. This would be best.
