loforox
Hi, I'm new to the game (and R.T.S in general), so I don't really know if I'm doing something wrong, as I'm still learning the game and the controls. I can't get the guard highlight to work or at least I don't know what I'm supposed to see when pressing the hotkeys. I'm talking about these two hotkeys: Quote PageUp with units selected: Highlight the unit(s)/structure(s) guarded by the selection. Quote PageDown with units/structures selected: Highlight the unit(s) guarding the selection. Here is what I do: Click on a soldier unit Press (hold) G Right-click on a structure (The pointer turns into a blue shield) At this point, the soldier appears to be guarding the structure (the shield in the soldier panel is now crossed out) The problem is that I don't see any highlight when pressing PageDown/PageUp with the unit/structure selected. Is this feature broken, or am I using it incorrectly? Edit: I'm on A27. Edited April 29, 2025 by loforox Adds the tested version
Obelix
Hello loforox and welcome to the forums! I have to admit, I never used this feature. But after consulting the hotkeys menu and the tooltips I still understand it like you and can reproduce it (Alpha 27), that no highlighting is happening. Hopefully some other forum users may help us out.

Obelix
For me it looked like it doesn't work for guarding an unit as well.
