Fionn
I hate to annoy you guys with another question, but will the player be able to choose what sub-faction the AI will select? I don't like being picky like this, but if I am having a battle with the Celts over Gaul, I would not want them to choose the Britons. MrBlack103
Interesting thought... Not my pesonal first priority, but good idea.
Apomonomenos
Well, that's what would make a challenge. In CoH, there are sub factions and some counter others. You can't set what the PC would chose, often it counters what I chose. But without that, the game would get boring rather quickly.
Fionn
True. Not everything can be perfect anyway. I am just a perfectionist and I can't help it.
Mythos_Ruler
Well, in such a scenario you would use a Scenario map to play on, rather than the standard skirmish mode. That is, if you really wanted a kind of "historical" scenario.
plumo
In random maps, will you be able to select sub factions, like in Age of mythology? What i mean is, In Age of mythology , the same civilization offered 3 enemies to play against. ( 3 main gods) with different tactics.
feneur
No, as Mythos_Ruler said you'd have to choose a scenario in case you want to be able to choose what sub-faction the enemy will select. And since the choice of what sub-faction you will use (in the cases where there are sub-factions, namely Celts and Greeks) is made a bit into the game it's really not that strange that you cannot affect that in the beginning.
