    Comp, windows 7 is worse than vista, you should probably downgrade to XP, as its far better than the both of them, all the rumours about XP not doing anything windows 7/vista can do, are total bullshit, and only rumours, windows 7 and vista can actually do less than XP, and at a slower rate, by far. (tested, read, proved.)

    When this comes out, i will dedicate a few hours to makin g a few simplistic maps for a campaign called the iron pillar (based on the events in the book), based on marcus tullius cicero, in the time of jullius caesar, so look forward to it ;)

    oh and there will be a massive twist to fit it into an rts format, so insstead of going through his peaceful life, there will be like when on his private island, a pirate raid, and you get to play with greek mercanaries etc, and obviously if he dies its gg cos he being you means if he dies, you die (obviously).

    Contradicting to what i said, have been playing as carthage on rtw, the roman campaign got boring (finished all 3 :)) andgot control of sicily and now expaning into egypt (woo) and im practically always given the 'richest faction' notification ;)

    i think when i get home (at school) im going to take over rome itself, kekekekekeke, though all their units are veteran i think i can do it if i have 4 whole armies and i command the attack personally, or i could try seleucids, always been thinking of the epic combination of elephants and phalanxes... actually i think i'll take that, more tasty compared to carthage :)

    SO Ill probably go hellenes or carthage first, ;)

    Egypt had a shitload less chance of surviving rome than carthage did, carthage just had very bad luck, egypt had a ton weaker army, mostly slaves, which were weakly armoured, at least the carthaginians had versatility in their armies, the mercanaries came from many countries see? the only reason egypt was independant for so long is because they didnt have many conflicts with rome, as the romans, while in the middle east, consentrated on the parthians and pontus and so on, so in no way did the egyptians have more chances to survive, especialy since they didnt play apart in a crapload of wars, they got owned in one war with roman support. ;)

    Its not off topic as this is a general @#$% Forum, isnt it?

    its still a competitor in my eyes 'cos i loved the stronghold..... series? hmm, maybe not the whole thing but the games i did like were freaking epic, it took my eyes off AoE for ages, until recently, it still counts as a competitor as its going to be freaking epic (if they pull it off) and 0ad wont have half the features that Stronghold 3 will have ;)

    and reading further, its going to be historicly accurate, in the terms of strongholds history, not in earth history it seems, even if it is in europe XD *facepalm*

    Romans so i can conquer some Uncivilised butt! For the senate and the roman people! For rome, for greatness and power, and mainly 'cos i can name myself one of the seriously epic yet seriously undermined goodguys, such as the iron pillar (look him up, his time periods quite interesting ;))

    Theres actually never been a WW2 game, theres been WW2 (europe) but not "World" War two, i've NEVER seen a game covering the whole war, its just, no japs or even itallians, so technically, none of them can be called "World War II" games, just "snippet of World War II" games. Correct me if im wrong, and as for WWI games.... never found or seen one, ever. BUT, it would be extremely fun to play in my opinion.

    Well yeah, reading it now it kind of didnt make sense whatsoever, i knew what i meant, but reading it was like a slap in the face and a moment of embazzledment for me, uh, im not judging or degrading, im just trying to get my thoughts across and see if any other people felt the same way, and obviously, i didnt get the slightest bit of what i was expecting in any way. Which, is quite lovely, and im going to go hug a tree and eventually stop typing out random stuff so anyway, kthx.
