  1. We are planning on putting Bloom into the engine in the future as well. But thats just something we will be doing when the programmers have time. Fixing bugs and AI/pathfinding is a bit more important to us right now.
  2. Well, you might be surprised to hear that it would be sooner than you are probably thinking. Once again, I hate being secretive about things but I hate setting dates. But the game itself is playable, its just matters of fixing bugs etc. Stay posted, as always for an in-game movie, new screenshots and information about a public demo.
  3. Except each unit in DoF is selectable, so battles wont be quite as big as RTW but they will be pretty darn tootin big. And instead of Centurions you will have Ogres and Goblins.
  4. Yeah that is correct... your fellow indie developers over at Reverie Entertainment, LLC have not slacked off just because we dont post progress. Stop by this thread to see a dozen or so new screenshots from the demo. Hopefully, we are planning on an in game video with some battle sequences very soon. Stay posted. Keep up the good work WFG! http://reverieentertainment.net/forums/showthread.php?t=220 (See site for details)
  5. Hmmm. I have had a conversation with Dan Quayle when he was Vice President- that really about it. For all you gamers out there, had a 1 on 1 chat with Bruce Shelley of Ensemble Studios (Lead Designer - Age of Empire, Mythology series) which was really cool simply since he was one of those guys you have always played games of his and it was great to actually meet him in person. Met the team at Id, met allot of the guys from Far Cry at a conference in Europe... Mmmm, had a conversation with Rick Goodman (CEO / Stainless Steel Studios) and Marc Adler (Exec Producer for CGI coming in 2005 "Delgo").
  6. I think it was at Reverie, he was the self-proclaimed "Reverie Reporter" who followed us like a shadow so long ago. I think that would be my first experience. It was a pleasant one. Micah Hymer Reverie Entertainment, LLC www.reverieentertainment.net
  7. There is no such thing as "fast game development". Even the fully financed companies can take years to complete a game. (See Half-Life 2). So just imagine how much harder it is for guys working full time in their regular lives to work even more hours every week on games like 0AD. 0AD is doing great and progressing as would be expected by anyone involved in game development, maybe even better. Keep up the good work. Micah Hymer Reverie Entertainment, LLC www.reverieentertainment.net
  8. I bought the El Camino basically for the engine and have fixed it up. Yeah- the older El Camino's (late 50's early 60's) have the large finned back-ends. I prefer 1969-1972 El Camino's and Chevelles. I am obcessed with them. Camaro's are tight as well. Especially the late 60's- Novas are bad little suckers too. Basically anything Chevy in the 1968-72 range kicks butt. I wish everyone had one... Just kidding- then I could beat everyone...
  9. Wijits feeling it guys with the classic. Classics are the only thing worth driving these days. My first car was (still is) a 1969 El Camino 350 Turbo Fire. Metallic Blue with Cragar SS wheels- 400 HP... LOUD.... And the greatest thing, is the 1969 El Camino is a Chevelle hybrid so the front end is exactly like a 1969 Chevelle. Forget the Volvo's... American muscle... And if you live overseas and like imports... You can "import" an American Muscle Car.
  10. Congratulations laddies it looks grand... Grand I say...
