  1. I've updated the 0ad to Alpha. I am now having problem with the game and I am not able to play this game anymore as far as I see this strange bug: Pink screen while in game (attached screenie below). It started up fine. I could see main menu just fine and when I click Start game! from single player, it'd load and then when it finished loading (after where it say delayfinishloading or something like that) then then screen will go pink on me. I'm baffled by this and pink color- pink, pink just drive me crazy!
  2. I could try to create a cross-browsers website lobby game server where it connects people to a game from a lobby room. I'm not sure if anybody else is doing this.
  3. Ah very good. I will let ya know how it goes.
  4. the newer simulation system works much better! There is no delay with mouse when I tried to order it to move. I'm loving the newer system more than old one. To me, I feel this is a huge step forward in term of gameplay. I have not yet create a RMS map yet but I plan to do so to practice around.
  5. How can I edit the UI? What files do I need to edit to change UI? I would like to play and mess around the UI. Maybe, once i finally got to make the UI look really good, I could share it with everyone.
  6. Ah, but why you guys need us for? to create new scripts, improve scripts, make suggestions, test for bug, or what?
  7. You need javascript scripters? For what? Because I happen to be javascript scripter.
  8. Im curious... Will this game take advantage of muiltcores processors? Like you could assign pathfinder to cpu 1, assign AI to cpu 2, assign sounds/networking to cpu 3, and etc so on.
  9. Ah, this works. Didnt know we dont have to have studio. Sweet. Kinda bit unstable on my 64 bit window vista machine hehe.
  10. I've looked into it, and it motivated me to download and install 0ad but I failed to install it because I could not use visual studio c++. I ran out of space on my main hard drive. I tried to install visual studio c++ on my external hard drive, but it still require some free space on my main hard drive to put files to. since I can not compile it myself, I will have to wait till 0ad comes with installer. I am curious to know one thing- does it come with some kind of debugger tool in case there's an error? It's similar to AoM's rms debugger if you made RMS maps in AoM.
  11. Hm, yes they do help because they provides basic explanations. They could use some suggestions- like what type of return value returns? However, it seems incomplete in my opinion and contains several glitches/errors like this I will try to look more of the stuff.
  12. Ah so like a unit kill every 10 units, it increases it's rank thus increasing attack dmg, hitpoint, regeneration etc? That is a neat idea would it be possible to add custom ranks to it? like Basic->Advanced->Elite->->Veteran-> Hero->Legendary->Master
  13. I am curious to know if there will be some kind of Experience Leveling system similar to AoE III. I've read some post that some people in AoE III dislikes the experience level system for various of reasons like it made it feel so un-related to AoE II. Edit: Maybe they can add feature that toggles experience level system off/on if people dont like the system
  14. I guess if nobody has made a rms reference or documentations on rms, then I should make one later when it's completed or something.
  15. Sounds good, Im looking at the rss. I hope there will be documents about the RMS functions and what it do so I can see what it has/ supports and make suggestion off from that.
  16. Sweet, its gonne be way better than AoM's rms scripting because this one includes arrays... which was needed so bad in aom!. I cant want to get this game when it comes to the store.
  17. Nice, it supports some random map scripting already! So what kind of language it involves using? C++? Javascript?
  18. Will this game supports random map scripting similar to Age of Mythology's rms? If so, does it use exactly the same as aom, or is it better?
